Interim Superintendent Voted In

At a special meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 8, the Nashoba Regional School Committee chose Curtis Bates as interim superintendent. After 41 years in education, Bates retired from full-time work last year, after serving as Boxborough’s superintendent since 2006. He has been working as a consultant with the Massachusetts Elementary School Principal’s Association. Pending contract negotiations, Bates would start work with Nashoba after the holidays, staying at least 6 months or until a permanent superintendent is found…
