Athletic Field Costs Reviewed - by Ann Needle
The proposed track and field renovation at Nashoba Regional High School was the focus of Thursday’s School Committee meeting, with an accent on how the cost would be absorbed by the district’s three towns. The Committee also reviewed a proposal for allowing both staff and students to stay electronically connected with Nashoba.

If it appears unbelievable that something for free could be worth more than $1 million in a year, then talk to the folks at Concord’s Emerson Hospital. The volunteers in one Emerson department alone save the Hospital this amount annually, with Stow residents playing a part in this success story.
A New Attitude for Boys LAX by Ellen Oliver
         Nashoba boys’ lacrosse holds a steady 3-3 record after coming off a tough week of battling Central Mass foes. The Chieftains defeated Westborough 11-9 on April 10, but fell to Algonquin 10-5 two days later. Joel Bates, the new varsity coach, acknowledged the challenge with Algonquin, but claims tough contests are welcomed under his team’s new perspective.
