Three Big Projects Have Board's Attention -by Nancy Arsenault
Town officials are hoping to protect taxpayers from potential sticker shock at the fall Special Town Meeting when three major capital projects will come before voters for discussion.  Last night, the Board of Selectmen voted to immerse themselves in an extensive evaluation of plans for a new fire station, a renovated Randall Library and the final uses for Pompositticut School..

Summer Volleyball at Nashoba Valley

When there isn’t snow on the slopes, there’s sand on the volleyball courts at Nashoba Valley Ski Area. Billed as beach volleyball, the courts are hard sand, not the soft sand courts of Olympians Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh, but the courts do overlook the Nashoba swim pond.
