Project 351 Looks to Protect Children by Ann Needle
The recent passage of Melissa’s Law has brought the issue of protecting the public from sexual predators into the spotlight. Now, a group that helped put through the legislation is looking to expand its mission in each of Massachusetts’s 351 towns, including Stow.

A Look Back at  Collings Foundationby Nancy Arsenault
  This summer, in the last of a 3-part oral history presentation at the West School Museum, Stow resident Bob Collings, co-founder of the Collings Foundation, spoke of how that institution first began here in Stow thirty five years ago. Today, this local organization is recognized world-wide as a unqiue living history museum filled with exhibits that fit much better outdoors, than within a typical museum setting.

       While her father was in the military, Abby Bemis’ family moved around the country a lot, but summers were always spent in Vermont at her grandparents’ farm. Settling in Stow several years ago allowed Bemis, now 18, to spend more time at the Vermont farm where the family breeds, trains and shows Lippitt Morgan horses.
