When It's Not a Freak Storm  by Nancy Arsenault
Last week marked the one year anniversary of the devastating tornadoes that ripped through western Massachusetts, coming as far east as the town of Brimfield.  That weather event was a surprise to residents and even meteorologists, but Stow’s public safety officials say that extreme weather is becoming more common and must be something for which everyone is prepared to face.
Stow Tops Nashoba Grads- by Ann Needle
For the last several years, Stow could boast of at least one resident among the valedictorians and salutatorians of Nashoba Regional High School’s graduating classes. This year, however, Stow students hold both of those honors, with Tanner Douglas as valedictorian and Oliver Jenkins as salutatorian of the Class of 2012.  But, look for two very different people to take the podium at graduation this Sunday.
Nashoba Honors Scholars-  by Ann Needle
        Part of the ritual of preparing for Nashoba Regional High School’s graduation is the awarding of scholarships from a wide array of organizations. On Monday, these organizations gave thousands of dollars to seniors heading in every conceivable direction after this coming Sunday’s graduation ceremony.
