Monday October 22, 2012
7:08am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that a family member did not return home the night before.  The caller contacted some friends but wanted the information logged.

7:49am ASSIST CITIZEN
The same caller that reported a family member might have been missing had still not heard from him/her.  The Police responded.  A missing person report was filed.

8:53am BURGLARY
The owner of Shelburne Farm reported that the store was broken into.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.
12:03pm BURGLARY
A caller from Marble Hill Farm reported that the farm stand was broken into.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.
4:34pm     LARCENY
A caller from Crescent Street reported that a child’s bicycle was stolen from his yard approximately 2-3 weeks ago.  The information was logged.

 

Tuesday October 23, 2012
10:01am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Kettell Plain Road reported that three men were knocking on doors in the neighborhood.  The Police responded.  No one was located.

2:54pm FIRE
The Maynard Fire Department requested assistance for a student with a shoulder injury at Green Meadow School in Maynard.  The Stow Fire/Rescue Department responded.  The ambulance transported the student to the hospital.

Wednesday October 24, 2012
8:59am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A called from Adams Road reported that a family member was not waking up.  He was breathing but unresponsive.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital.

9:37am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Hastings Street reported a suspicious white van at a home for sale.  The Police responded.  The van belonged to workers who had been working on the home.  The information was verified.  All was OK.

6:57pm WELL BEING CHECK
A caller from Barton Road requested a well-being check on his friend.  The Police responded.  The woman was contacted and all was OK.

7:02pm     SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on South Acton Road reported that two cars were parked on the side of the road with people inside.  The lights were off.  The Police responded.  The people were waiting for a tow truck.  All was OK.

11:57pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from West Acton Road reported that his car alarm had gone off three times.  He was not sure if someone was outside causing it.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

 

Thursday October 25, 2012
8:34am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller in the lower common area reported that her car was broken down.  She contacted AAA but they were going to be a while.  The caller wanted to advise the Police of the situation.

12:44pm FIRE
The Maynard Fire Department requested assistance with a woman on Summer Hill Glen who did not feel well.  The Stow Fire/Rescue department responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

1:06pm LARCENY
A caller reported that his wallet was lost or stolen on October 19th.  He contacted all of the credit/bank card companies.  The information was logged.

4:14pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from West Acton Road reported that a man came to her door to request permission to go behind her home to cut some winterberries, in memory of his mother.  The homeowner denied the man access.  His plate number was given to the Police.  The Police responded to speak with the man.

4:15pm FIRE
The Fire Department reported an illegal burn on Ministers Way.  The fire was safely extinguished.  All was OK.

5:46pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Indian Ridge Road requested an ambulance for a woman who had a seizure.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

 

Friday October 26, 2012
1:18pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
The Stow Highway Department reported that a group of kids on White Pond Road pointed a gun, most likely a toy, at them.  The Police responded.  The toy gun was confiscated.

1:36pm COMPLAINT
A caller at the Stow Shopping Plaza reported that there needed to be an actual stop sign near the Papa Gino’s exit. There is a line painted on the ground but people just ignore it.  The Property Management was notified.

6:59pm FIRE
The Boxboro Fire Department requested assistance for an individual with a dislocated shoulder at the skating rink on Massachusetts Avenue.  The Stow Fire/Rescue Department responded.  An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital.

 

Saturday October 27, 2012
12:22am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from West Acton Road requested an ambulance for a man who had difficulty breathing.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

12:34am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Bradley Lane requested an ambulance for a man with abdominal pain.  The Maynard Police and Fire/Rescue were contacted to assist.

1:20am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Great Road reported that a female neighbor told him that she heard noises in her basement and the bulkhead was open.  The Police responded to check the area.  The home was secure.

12:40pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A driver’s license was located in the Shaw’s parking lot.  The Police identified the owner and returned it to him/her.

9:48am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Warren Road reported that her car was egged.  The Police responded.

12:47pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Boxboro Road reported that a man fell about 15 feet to the ground.  He was conscious and alert.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

6:37pm     SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Marlboro Road reported that a light on the second floor of her home turned on.  The floor was unoccupied.  The Police responded.  The light had a faulty switch.  All was OK.
