Monday April 22, 2013
8:52am COMPLAINT 
A caller from Red Acre Road reported a low flying helicopter.  The Maynard Police reported that the area was spraying for mosquito control.  All was OK.
3:01pm DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE 
A caller reported that a family member was intoxicated and caused a problem.  He left the home.  The Police responded to check the area.  A 51-year-old Stow man was arrested for assault and battery.
10:46am ASSIST CITIZEN 
A caller from Barton Road reported that a light kept flashing on the exterior of her home.  It was coming from the lake side.  The Police responded.  The light was a motion-activated light that was being set off by an umbrella blowing in the wind.  All was OK.

9:24am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY 
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that a large metal can or fuel tank was in the road.  The Police and Fire Department responded.  The debris was cleared from the road.
1:01pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY 
A caller from the First Parish Church requested an ambulance for an individual with a severe nosebleed.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded and transported the patient to the hospital. 
1:18pm MISSING PERSON 
A caller from Warren Road reported that her granddaughter had been missing since Saturday.  An officer assisted the caller.  A report was filed.

2:16pm COMPLAINT
A walk-in reported that the town street sweeper backed up at a high rate of speed.  It caused a dangerous situation.  The Police advised the individual.
5:20pm WELL BEING CHECK 
Two walk-ins reported that a small child was walking near the plaza.  The Police responded.  The child was located with his mother, who had picked him up.

Thursday April 25, 2013
10:17am FIRE
Waste Management reported that a truck spilled a lot of hydraulic fluid on Wedgewood Road.  The company cleaned it up.  All was OK.
1:36pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY 
A caller from Circuit Drive requested an ambulance to transport a man to the hospital.  The Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
5:29pm ASSIST CITIZEN 
A caller from Barton Road reported that someone was driving his car.  He stated that no one should have taken the car.  An officer advised the man to check his garage for both cars.  The man found both his cars in the garage and secured.  All was OK.
6:42pm ANIMAL 
A caller near Shaw’s reported a loose black dog running near 117.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Friday April 26, 2013
3:18am FIRE
A caller from Boxboro Road reported a possible brush fire.  The Fire Department responded.  A small brush fire was located.  It was safely extinguished.
8:48am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY 
A caller near Randall Road reported that an older man, who appeared disoriented, was sitting on the side of the road.  The Police responded.  The man was walking to the train station in Acton and was taking a break.  All was OK.
9:14am ANIMAL
A caller from Old Bolton Road reported that a young fox was curled up in her flowers.  She was concerned that it was sick.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
10:52am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Taylor Road reported that a landscape truck left its trailer parked in the road.  It was in a bad location.  The Police responded.  The landscapers were contacted and the trailer was moved to a better location.
11:30am ASSIST CITIZEN 
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding an incident a friend had while jogging that day, early in the morning.  An officer advised the woman.
11:36am ACCIDENT/MEDICAL EMERGENCY
Multiple callers reported a motor vehicle accident in front of Stow Away Bed & Breakfast on Great Road.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported an individual, with injuries, to the hospital.
12:24pm VANDALISM 
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding damage to her property.  The Police responded. 
1:36pm ALARM
A security company reported a residential alarm on Great Road.  The Police responded.  The back door was found open.  The home was checked and secured.
4:16pm ASSIST CITIZEN 
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding someone opening credit cards in his wife’s name.  An officer advised the caller.

Saturday April 27, 2013
2:03pm FIRE
A caller on White Pond Road reported a fire possibly out of control.  The Police and Fire Department responded.  The permitted fire was under control.  
4:28pm ASSIST CITIZEN 
A caller from Indian Ridge Road requested to speak with an officer regarding an issue with her neighbor.  An officer advised the caller.
10:07pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY 
An officer checked on a car parked on South Acton Road.  The owner was located.  She was looking for her dog that ran off.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Sunday April 28, 2013
7:33am ASSIST CITIZEN  
A caller from Pilot Grove Farm reported that a hot air balloon landed at the complex.  She was concerned.  The Police responded.   Two balloons were located.  The area had been large enough for them to land.  All was OK.
11:05am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY 
A caller on Gates Lane reported that she found a blue mountain bike in the grass.  No one was around.  The Police responded.  The bike was taken to the station for safekeeping.
11:35am FIRE
A caller from Lanes End Road reported that a neighbor’s fire seemed to be getting out of control.  Some of the hot ambers were landing in her yard.  The Police and Fire Department responded.  Two permit fires were located and under control.  
5:06pm FIRE
The Fire Department located outside smoke on Bradley Lane.  The smoke was coming from a cooking fire.  The homeowner was advised.  All was OK.
8:36pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY 
An officer observed an individual riding a bike without any reflective gear or headlights. The cyclist was advised.
