Monday May 13, 2013
3:01am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that an unknown man attempted to get into his house and was still wandering around the property.  The Police responded.  No one was located.

11:12am FOUND
A caller reported that she located a purse and sweatshirt in the Captain Sergeant Conservation parking lot.  The Police responded.  The purse was full of trash.  The property was removed from the area.

12:12pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller near Cider Mill Road reported that a man had been sitting in a car for several hours.  The Police responded.  The man was doing work for a nearby resident and was having a lunch break.  All was OK.

3:01pm ANIMAL
A walk-in brought a dog, with no tags or collar, into the station.  The dog was found in the road.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

6:50pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Eliot Drive reported that cars were parked on both sides of the road, causing a safety hazard.  The Police responded.  There was plenty of room for vehicles to pass.  All was OK.

8:11pm ANIMAL
A caller from Randall Road reported that a chicken was under the eaves of his porch.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

10:24pm COMPLAINT
Several callers from Hillcrest Avenue reported fireworks.  The Police responded.  The homeowner was advised.

9:14am ACCIDENT
A caller reported that someone backed into his parked car at the Stow Plaza.  He requested assistance with the paperwork.  The Police responded and advised the man.

9:49am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that he hit debris in the road.  The Police responded.  A large aluminum sheet scuffed the caller’s car.  The Highway Department was notified.  The sheet was removed.

5:57pm ASSIST CITIZEN
An officer was flagged down on Randall Road.  An individual needed the Animal Control Officer’s number because he caught a chicken.  The officer advised the man.

8:15pm COMPLAINT
A caller on White Pond Road reported that several teenagers were “hanging out” on the bridge.  The Police responded.  The teens were fishing off the bridge and had the proper licenses.  They were advised to keep the noise down.

4:24am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller requested an ambulance for a woman who had difficulty breathing.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

7:39am ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
A caller reported that she fell.  She seemed incoherent on the phone.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.

8:30am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that an erratic operator droves down Wheeler Road over the speed limit, every morning.  The information was logged.

10:47am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that she received a phone call that was garbled.  It concerned her.  The Police advised the woman.

12:52pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Hudson Road reported that the gas prices sign at Stow Brook Gulf were obstructing the view onto Great Road.  The Police responded.

3:58pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Sylvan Drive reported that her power went out again.  She attempted to contact Hudson Light and Power without success. The Police advised the caller.

9:09pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Wheeler Road reported an erratic driver.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

8:41pm ANIMAL
A caller from Kingland Road reported that her two dogs ran off.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
Thursday May 16, 2013
10:27am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Circuit Drive reported that two people were trespassing on her property.  The Police responded.  A verbal trespass order was given to the individuals.

5:12pm ANIMAL
A caller from Great Road reported that her cat had been missing since the morning.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

5:50pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that a young boy was riding a bicycle on 117.  The caller was concerned.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

7:35pm LOST
A caller reported that she lost her wallet at Applefield Farm earlier in the day.  The information was logged

8:24pm ARREST
Kelly Hickey, 48, and Walter Winiarski, 49, both from Boxboro, were arrested for daytime breaking and entering, larceny under $250 and malicious destruction of property over $250.
Friday May 17, 2013
10:08am ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding an ongoing harassment issue.  An officer advised the individual.

11:08am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Taylor Road reported that there would be multiple cars parked along the road due to a graduation party.  The Police advised the caller to pull the cars off the road as much as possible.

2:17pm WELL BEING CHECK
An officer observed an elderly man on Boxboro Road who looked like he needed assistance.  The man was walking to Concord Fuel, where his car was being worked on.  The officer gave the man a ride to the gas station.  All was OK.

3:55pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller at the town beach reported that another car parked near hers at the parking lot.  She left her car and upon return found it unlocked and her iphone missing.  The Police responded to check the area.  No suspects were located.

7:25pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding his identity being stolen.  An officer advised the man.

7:46pm ANIMAL
A caller reported that her dog ran away from the dog park in Acton.  It may have come to the Stow area.   The Animal Control Officer was notified.
Saturday May 18, 2013
9:48am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer reported a suspicious package at the Community Park.  The Police responded.  The package was identified as a sandbag.  All was OK.

1:08pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Harvard Road reported that a loud dirt bike was riding on the unfinished conservation trail.  An officer advised the caller.

1:46pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Old Bolton Road reported that the road was blocked due to cars parking on both sides of the street for SpringFest.   The Police responded.  The road was not blocked and vehicles could still pass without incident.

7:00pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Homestead Lane reported that two dirt bikes were speeding up and down the road.  The Police responded.  The individuals were located and advised.

7:28pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that a U-Haul was in a neighbor’s driveway on Gleasondale Road.  The neighbor was not home at the time.  The homeowner was contacted and he/she reported that permission was given to a friend to park the truck at the house.  All was OK.

9:30am COMPLAINT
A caller from Hale Road reported that an ongoing issue with his neighbor escalated again.  The information was logged.

11:57pm FOUND
A walk-in located a wallet on Heights Street.  The owner was contacted and the wallet was returned.

3:45pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Cortland Drive reported that three young boys took a sign out of the ground and were skateboarding on it.  Vandalism to the neighborhood playground was also reported.  The Police responded.  The individuals were located and advised.
