Monday June 24, 2013
10:14am ANIMAL
A caller on Packard Road reported a loose German Sheperd running around.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

2:08pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in reported that her license and credit cards were stolen.  The information was logged.

5:09pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Red Acre Road reported that most of the mailboxes on the left side of the road were open.  She wanted the police to be aware of the situation.

7:49pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding what to be aware of when buying/selling things on Craig’s List.  An officer advised the caller.

Tuesday June 25, 2013
10:21am COMPLAINT
A caller on Pompositticut Street reported that a paving truck company on the road was over the weight limit.  The Police responded.

2:19pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Johnston Way requested an ambulance because she wasn’t feeling well.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

2:56pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Johnston Way requested an ambulance because she fell and was injured.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

7:29pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Randall Road reported that she heard loud bangs near her home.  The Police responded to check the area.

8:05pm BYLAW VIOLATION
A bylaw violation was issued on Hartley Road for parking on the sidewalk.

8:10am COMPLAINT
A caller from Wheeler Road reported that she has picked up trash on the side of the road several times over the last few weeks.  The caller requested that the police keep an eye on the area.

12:05pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Pompositticut Street reported that she heard a gunshot or explosion near her home.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

9:05pm ARREST
Daniel Cassidy, 20, from Maynard, was arrested for possession of alcohol under the age of 21.

Thursday June 27, 2013
9:48am FIRE
A caller from Great Road reported that her lawnmower was on fire.  The Fire Department responded.  The lawnmower was safely extinguished.  All was OK.

4:24pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Heather Lane reported that she heard 10 loud bangs near her home.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

6:49pm ANIMAL
A caller near Papa Gino’s reported that a peacock was running around the parking lot.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

7:45pm ANIMAL
A caller from High Street reported that a white fluffy chicken was in her back yard.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Friday June 28, 2013
2:46pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Crescent Street reported that a tree took down a wire.  The Police and Highway department responded.

3:25pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Hillcrest Avenue requested to speak with an officer regarding a suspicious phone call.  An officer advised the caller.

9:46pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer checked on a group of cars at the Pompositticut School parking lot.  Several parents were waiting for their children to arrive home from a trip.

Saturday June 29, 2013
7:44am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Pompositticut Street reported that a pick up truck, driven by an older male with white hair, almost ran her over.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

11:03am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Sandy Brook Drive reported that she received a phone call from a man asking for her NSTAR account information.  The caller told the man that she did not have an NSTAR account and requested his name.  The man responded with an unpleasant comment and then hung up.  The number was reported to be from the Just Energy Company.  The manager was contacted and horrified at the event.  A disciplinary action was taken against the employee who made the phone call.

8:27pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Warren Road reported that his neighbor was blasting loud music.  The Police responded.  The neighbor was spoken to and the music was turned down.

Sunday June 30, 2013
1:09am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer reported that an individual was delivering phone books in the area.

8:28am ANIMAL
A caller from Farm Road reported that a hawk flew into his window and was on the ground, with a possible broken wing.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  A short time later, the hawk walked around a bit and then flew off.

2:31pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller at the town beach reported that people were swimming at the dog beach.  The Police responded.

8:43pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A man was located walking in the middle of Sudbury Road.  He was not intoxicated, just argumentative.  An officer requested that he return home without incident.  A verbal warning was given.  All was OK.
