Monday March 25, 2013
3:55pm FIRE
A caller from Sylvan Drive reported seeing smoke coming from the Wedgewood Pine Country Club.  The
Police and Fire responded.  A fire was extinguished.

8:29pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported an erratic driver.  The Police responded.  The car was located and the driver was advised.

6:46am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Harvard Road requested an ambulance for a woman who had severe back pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

9:11am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Hudson Road requested an ambulance for a man who fell and injured his leg.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

12:11pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Acton Police reported that they had found property that belonged to a Stow resident.  The Stow Police contacted the resident and she retrieved her things in Acton.

3:49pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Adams Road reported that a school bus frequently goes through the neighborhood at a high rate of speed.  The Police contacted the bus company.

4:03pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller at the Delaney Project had a permit to open the gate but the key did not work.  The Police responded to open the gate.

5:48pm ACCIDENT/ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Great Road reported that she saw a car accident.  One driver got out and punched the other driver in the face. Both individuals and the witness went to the station to provide a written statement.

10:24pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Great Road reported that someone rang her doorbell but she didn’t answer it.  When she looked outside, there was a man with a flashlight walking around the yard.  The Police responded.  The man was from a Repo company.

1:44am ANIMAL
A caller from Adams Road reported a barking dog.  The Police responded.  Nothing was found.

8:17am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that a construction sign was a hazard.  The Police responded to check the sign.

8:22am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Great Road requested an ambulance for a woman with a medical emergency.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

3:40pm ARREST
Darlene Patterson, 46, from Ayer, was arrested on a warrant.

9:19pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Tuttle Lane requested to speak with an officer regarding obtaining a restraining order.  An officer advised the caller.

8:15am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Great Road requested an ambulance for a woman who had general weakness.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

9:31am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A dog bit an officer while he was on detail.  An ambulance responded.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  A report was filed.

3:20pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding an issue with his neighbor.  An officer advised the man.

7:07pm FORGERY/FRAUD
A walk-in reported that he believed he was a victim of identity theft. An officer advised the man.

6:53am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Sawmill Road requested an ambulance because she fell on glass and cut her foot and leg.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

10:55am COMPLAINT
A caller from Hale Road reported that his neighbor has been intimidating him and his family.  An officer advised the caller.  The information was logged.

3:16pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding an incident at Stow Gardens.  An officer advised the individual.

3:40pm ARREST
Nicholas Tine, 18, from Stow, was arrested for speeding, a stop sign violation, failure to stop for police and driving without an inspection sticker.

9:21am ANIMAL
A caller near Honey Pot Hill reported that while he was walking his dog, he saw the orchard’s goats out of their enclosure.  The Police notified the owners.

11:37am FIRE
A caller from Red Acre Road reported that there was water in his basement.  The Fire Department responded.  A pump was left with the caller.

1:41pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Center Place requested an ambulance because of severe pain on her left side.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

7:46pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Global Fitness requested an ambulance for a man who had a seizure.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

3:27pm ANIMAL
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding an issue with a cat.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

9:30pm WELL BEING CHECK
A caller from Evelyn Road requested assistance with a family member who may hurt him/herself.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The family member was located and an ambulance transported him/her to the hospital.
