Public Safety Log: Dec. 23-29, 2013

 Monday December 29, 2013
8:39am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from North Shore Drive requested an ambulance for dehydration and weakness. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

8:55am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A car parked on the side of Wildlife Way was checked. The driver was from a Dry Cleaning Company and was taking a break. All was OK.

12:58pm ACCIDENT
A motorist flagged down an officer on Great Road to report a minor car accident. Both vehicles had minimal damage. Paperwork was exchanged. All was OK.

2:12pm FIRE
A caller reported seeing flames coming from a resident’s chimney on Barton Road. The Police and Fire Department responded. There were no problems or fire found.

5:31pm ANIMAL
A caller on Great Road reported that there was a loose dog in the area. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Tuesday December 24, 2013
7:22am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Orchard Drive requested assistance with checking that his/her car was not running. The Police responded to check the vehicle. It was not running.

11:46am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Birch Hill Road reported that someone went through her mail and then tossed it in a snowbank. The woman was advised to contact the Post Office. The information was logged.

3:54pm ANIMAL
A caller on Packard Road reported that she found a black dog without any tags. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Wednesday December 25, 2013
9:00am FOLLOW-UP
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding an ongoing investigation.  An officer advised the caller.

7:17pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Hickory Lane requested an ambulance for a man who fell and hit his head. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

9:39pm ANIMAL
A caller from Old Bolton Road reported that there was a squirrel trapped in his bedroom. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Thursday December 26, 2013
11:21am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Lantern Lane reported that a family member fell in the driveway. She was awake but acting strangely. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

2:05pm ACCIDENT
A minor car accident was reported at the Bolton town line. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. Two individuals refused medical care. A report was filed.

3:02pm ACCIDENT
A caller on Taylor Road reported a car accident. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. Two individuals refused medical care. A tow truck was requested and a report was filed.

9:31pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from White Pond Road reported that 2-3 kids were walking behind his home, yelling and swearing. The Police responded. Three kids were located and driven back to their home.  The minors’ parent was spoken to.

11:39pm ACCIDENT
A car accident was reported on Harvard Road. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. A car had hit a tree. The airbag was deployed. After a thorough evaluation, the driver refused medical care. A tow truck was requested and a report was filed.

Friday December 27, 2013
7:51am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Apple Blossom Lane reported that there were footprints in the snow around his home. The Police responded. The home was checked. There did not appear to be any foul play.

1:01pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Meeting House Lane requested assistance with bringing an individual to the hospital. An ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital.

Saturday December 28, 2013
8:47am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Taylor Road requested an ambulance for a man with a medical emergency.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

12:20pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Warren Road complained of loud music in the area. The Police responded. A resident was advised.

12:50pm COMPLAINT
The same caller from Warren Road reported that the loud music was really a loud bass, not music. The Police responded. Again, the resident was advised.

1:04pm FOUND
A walk-in reported that she found a pocketbook. The owner was contacted.

1:23pm ANIMAL
A caller reported that there was a loose Labrador, without tags, in the area. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Sunday December 29, 2013
1:31am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Old Bolton Road reported that there was an individual sitting in the trunk of a car.  The Police responded. The car was gone upon arrival.

11:53am WELL BEING CHECK
A caller on Great Road, Maynard, requested a well-being check on her family member in Stow.  The phone had been busy for over an hour. The Police responded to check on the woman.  She was home vacuuming and was OK.

7:14pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from White Pond Road requested an ambulance for an individual with an unknown medical emergency. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported the individual to the hospital.

8:05pm SERVE PUBLIC
An officer checked on a vehicle, on Garner Road, with its hazards on. The driver was waiting for his/her child to get out of work. All was OK.

8:24pm SERVE PUBLIC
An officer checked on a vehicle parked at Concord Fuels. The individual was waiting for his/her child. All was OK.
