Monday August 11, 2014
7:44am    SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer observed a woman screaming at the water’s edge in the Delaney Project.  Upon approach he discovered that she was enthusiastically praying to her god.  All was OK.

1:40pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Davis Road reported that her neighbors had fireworks.  The Police responded.  The fireworks were taken and the individual’s parents were notified.

4:43pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Hudson Road reported that a refrigerator was on the side of the road with its door still on.  The Police responded.  The owner was contacted and the door was removed.

Tuesday August 12, 2014
10:32am COMPLAINT
A caller at the town beach reported that people were using a loud speaker to play music. The Police responded.

11:15am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that her son received a text message stating that his information would be stolen within the next 24 hours.  The Police called the number associated with the text.  It was a young man.  He refused to identify himself.  It was believed to be the action of a friend.  All was OK.

12:44pm DISTURBANCE
A caller from Warren Road reported that he asked a family member to leave and she refused.  The Police responded.  A verbal argument was heard.  The involved parties were advised.

2:34pm ANIMAL
A caller from Taylor Road reported that his neighbor had many animals that continually wandered into his yard.  The information was reported to the Animal Control Officer.

8:04pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Bolton Police requested assistance with locating a man who left his home on foot.  The Stow Police assisted.  The man was located and safely brought home.

8:51pm INFORMATION
A caller at the town beach reported that two groups of kids were playing soccer at the field.  One group left with the ball that belonged to the first group.  The caller wanted the information logged.

Wednesday August 13, 2014
8:59am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Edgehill Road reported that a large tree was across the road.  The Police responded.  The tree was removed.

9:27am LOST
A caller reported that she lost her small black and white polka dot bag near CVS.  The information was logged.

10:14am FIRE
A caller from Gleasondale Road reported that she smelled smoke in her home but could not see it.  The home was evacuated.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  All was clear.  A second call reported that there was heavy smoke from an agricultural burn at Honey Pot Hill.

12:19pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Walcott Street reported that a tree was down on some wires.  The Police and Hudson Light and Power responded.  The road was closed and the tree was removed.

4:24pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
Lifeline requested an ambulance for a woman from Boxboro Road who was dizzy.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

5:03pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller reported that a wire across from the Pompositticut School was smoking.  A second caller reported that a wire was arcing and a tree limb was on fire.  The Police and Hudson Light and Power responded.

7:28pm VANDALISM
A caller from Hiley Brook Road reported that he heard a loud bang outside and saw a car drive away.  An hour later when he was going out, he saw that the back window of his car had been shattered.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.

Thursday August 14, 2014
8:52am ASSIST CITIZEN
The caller who reported a vandalized car the night before reported that the possible car involved was a white car with NH plates.  The Police responded to check the area.

5:18pm ARREST
Philip Ferrecchia, 32, from Marlboro, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

6:31pm ACCIDENT
Multiple callers from Great Road reported a car accident with unknown injuries.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  Two individuals refused medical care.

7:55pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer checked on two individuals who were hunting turtles from the Sudbury Road bridge.  They did not have their licenses on them.  They left the area.  An official license was confirmed by the Environment Police.

10:23pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Wildwood Road requested an ambulance for a woman who he believed was having a stroke.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The woman was transported to the hospital.

Friday August 15, 2014
7:44am ANIMAL
A caller on Randall Road reported that a Husky was running loose. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

11:36am ANIMAL
An employee at Applefield Farm reported that a dog wandered into the store.  The caller placed a leash on the dog to keep it safe. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

11:48am BURGLARY
A caller from Orchard Drive reported that it appeared the home he is moving into was broken into. The Police responded.  A report was taken.

4:32pm ANIMAL
A caller on Sudbury Road reported that someone let a domesticated rabbit loose with some food.  It was on the side of the road.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

7:42pm ANIMAL
A caller reported seeing a large coyote walking near the library.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Saturday August 16, 2014
7:28am BURGLARY
A caller from Stow Away Golf reported that someone broke into the pro shop.  The Police Responded.

10:28am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from White Pond Road reported that several cars had been speeding in the area.  The Police responded for radar.

3:25pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Stow Police assisted the US Customs and Border Patrol with identifying a local vehicle.

4:04pm WELL BEING CHECK
A walk-in reported that a man was riding a pink bicycle while holding an infant with one arm.  The Police responded to check the area.

5:13pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Maple Street reported that a family member, who is legally blind, found a pair of men’s undergarments under her porch bench.  The caller was concerned for her family member’s safety.  The Police responded.

9:29pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from North Shore Drive reported that a woman fell in the bathroom.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

Sunday August 17, 2014
12:52am ASSIST CITIZEN
An officer at the Villages at Stow reported that management was working at the well house to rectify a problem with the water pumps.

12:41pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding an ongoing problem with protesters.  An officer advised the individual.

4:39pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported hearing a loud boom.  The Police responded to check the area

6:31pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Gleasondale Road reported two very loud motorcycles.  An officer advised the caller.
