Monday May 5, 2014
4:56pm     ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Environmental Police reported two individuals riding dirt bikes on Sudbury Road.  The Stow Police responded.  The bikers were located and advised.

6:56pm VANDALISM
A caller from Barton Road reported that his mailbox was smashed.  The Police responded.

10:20pm ANIMAL
A caller on Adams Road reported that he saw an injured dog walking along the road.  The Police responded.  The dog’s owner was located.  The dog was not injured.

Tuesday May 6, 2014
1:15am COMPLAINT
A caller from Pilot Grove Apartments reported that she heard yelling and screaming.  The Police responded.  Nothing was found.

8:17pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Robert Road reported that two men were soliciting, asking for signatures for an environmental research group.  The Police responded.  The men were located and advised to stop until proper solicitor permits were obtained.

11:21pm  COMPLAINT
A caller on West Acton Road reported that she saw a bright light coming from Pilot Grove Farm.  The Police responded.  Nothing was found.

Wednesday May 7, 2014
1:31am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Heather Lane requested an ambulance for a woman who was dizzy and could not move.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

9:29am LARCENY
A caller from Crescent Street reported that someone stole about ten antique barn boards.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.

10:50am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller at the Fire Academy requested an ambulance for an unknown medical.  The ambulance transported an individual to the hospital.

4:34pm FIRE
A caller near Lake Boon reported a fire somewhere near the lake.  The Police and Fire responded.  The Fire Academy reported that a controlled burn was going on.  All was OK.

9:26pm     ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on West Acton Road reported that three youths were skateboarding near Shelburne Farms.  They were wearing dark clothing.  The Police responded.  No one was located.

Thursday May 8, 2014
12:35pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Wildwood Road requested an ambulance for a woman who had difficulty breathing and pain in her shoulder.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

9:03pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on White Pond Road reported that a car with four men and a dog in it parked near the WildLife Refuge area.  The Police responded.  No one was located.

Friday May 9, 2014
9:46pm     ANIMAL
A caller on Edgehill Road reported an injured cat.  The Police responded.  The cat’s owner was spoken to.  The cat was not injured.  It was old and needed part of its fur shaved.  All was OK.

2:07pm     ACCIDENT
A caller on Great Road reported a head on collision between two cars.  Personal injury was unknown. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  No was injured.  There was no need for any medical services.

8:57pm ARREST
Brittany Crooker, 25, from Lancaster, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and for possession of an open container.

Saturday May 10, 2014
10:30am COMPLAINT
A caller at the Shaw’s parking lot reported a running van with a baby and toddler inside.  The Police responded.

12:17pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Warren Road reported that a piece of construction equipment was parked on the hill.  She was concerned that the rain would cause it to slide down onto the road.  The Police responded.

3:32pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller reported that a home on Brookmill Road should be vacant but there was a car parked in the driveway.  The Police responded.  A neighbor reported that the owner gave her permission to park the car in the driveway overnight.  All was OK.

6:43pm ANIMAL
A caller from Taylor Road reported an owl in his backyard.  The owl appeared to be stunned by a lightning strike.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

7:40pm     ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding a threat she received.  An officer advised the woman.

Sunday May 11, 2014
9:15am COMPLAINT
A walk-in reported that his neighbor’s dog went into his yard and eliminated four of his chickens.  The information was logged.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

2:51pm ANIMAL
A caller at the Shaw’s parking lot reported that a dog was inside a car for over ten minutes.  The Police responded.  The owner was located and advised.

8:03pm ARREST
Matthew Holmes, 21, from Hudson, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
