Monday May 18, 2015
8:03am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that a truck accidentally dumped pavement onto the road.  The Highway Department was notified and responded to clean the area

8:05am VANDALISM
A caller from Wheeler Road reported vandalism to a bobcat front end loader.  A report was filed.

2:01pm ASSIST CITIZEN

A walk-in requested extra police patrol near her residence due to vandalism that happened earlier in the day.

5:25pm COMPLAINT
A walk-in reported that a driver kept honking his horn at her and then he passed her and other cars.  An officer advised the woman.

5:53pm ANIMAL
A caller from Forest Road reported that she found a small dog in her fenced backyard.  The dog did not have any tags.  The Animal Control Officer responded.  A micro chip was located and the dog was identified.

9:40am ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Maynard Police requested assistance with locating a driver who was trying to sell a generator out of the back of a truck.  The Stow Police assisted.  The driver was located and stopped.  The generator’s serial numbers were checked and it had not been reported stolen.  The individual was advised.

2:45pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Sudbury Road complained about a lot of gravel in the road.  It appeared that something was dragged across the road near Honey Pot Hill Orchards.  The Police responded.  The Highway Department was notified.

8:39pm COMPLAINT
A caller on West Acton Road complained about how two cars were parked in the area.  The Police responded.  The cars were off the road and not causing a hazard.  9:07pm ANIMAL
A caller from Kingland Road reported that a neighbor’s dog had been barking for over two hours.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

The Animal Inspector reported that there was a possible sick or injured raccoon in a driveway on Mitchell Road.

10:32am ANIMAL
A caller from Hudson Road reported that there was a rabid raccoon on her front steps.  The Police responded.  The animal could not be retrieved from under the deck.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

4:36pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Grove Hill Road reported that a girl on a bike rode into his parked car.  The Police responded.  The girl, who had no injuries, was advised.

1:01pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Evelyn Road reported that a resident had been playing loud music for a couple of hours.  The Police responded to check the area.

4:14pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Grove Hill Road requested an ambulance for a woman with slurred speech.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

5:20pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Center School reported that a child fell off the monkey bars and hit his head.  He was conscious but had a cut on his head.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The child was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

1:40pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Boxboro Road requested an ambulance for a man who had abdominal pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The man was taken to the hospital.

11:00am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Athens Street reported that a large truck was trying to leave the area but got stuck on Hudson Road. The road was blocked and it caused a traffic hazard.

8:24am FOUND
A walk-in reported that he/she found a smart phone on Track Road.

10:27am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Farm Road reported that a post office truck had driven by her house several times.  The Police responded to check the area.

8:59pm ANIMAL
A motorist near Bose, off of Great Road, reported that he saw several cats running around.  The Police responded to check the area.

9:03pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer checked on a car that was on Old Bolton Road. The owner was at the park playing basketball but then left the car to go to a family dinner.  All was OK.
