Our condolences to the friends and family of Patti Heron who passed away on Sunday. Patti had volunteered many hours for the town, including her work on the Finance Committee and on the Springfest Committee. She will be missed.

Condolences also to the family and friends of longtime Stow resident Mary Messier who passed away March 15.

With Town Election approaching on April 30,  Town Clerk Linda Hathaway has certified all of the nomination papers that have been returned by candidates for the upcoming election. Unless someone runs a write-in campaign, there are no contested races this year. See the full list of open positions and candidates at right.

This weekend brings a variety of activities to help residents forget the snow and cold. The Sounds of Stow will perform Handel’s “Jeptha” on Sunday, with an open dress rehearsal on Saturday. Director Barbara Jones promises a “profound and moving” story with this significant musical event.

The Nashoba Drama Society will present “Hello Dolly” in performances through the weekend. The upbeat stage musical is a family-friendly event.

And the Easter Bunny will be hopping in to town for the Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, hosted by the Stow Lions Club on Sunday morning.
