Despite the fact that it was 5° Tuesday morning, this coming weekend is officially spring. Well, at least it’s Spring Forward for Daylight Saving Time. Somehow I don’t think it’s going to do much for the weather, but at least it’s a sign of hope. The Stow Community Park’s Skating Rink has now been open over 60 days this season, according to Rec Commissioner Tim Allaire. However, there have been days here and there where temps have exceeded the freezing mark and on those days the rink is CLOSED. Each time this happens, the maintenance crew has to fix the ice, said Allaire, who asks that residents please respect the Closed sign.
