The Independent Clause

Our condolences to the Colosi family on the loss of patriarch Anthony Colosi.  Mr. Colosi was the founder of what is now known as E.T.&L. Corp, a longstanding business in Stow. He and his wife Rosaria were longtime residents prior to moving to Florida. Daughter, Jennie Lee, is now running the company.  Our sympathies to Mr. Colosi’s family and friends.

As expected, it was quite a busy weekend in Stow with apple picking season at its peak, the Collings Foundation Battle for the Airfield, the First Parish Church Annual Fall Fair and the Lions Club flea market. Traffic, on the other hand, was reported to be well controlled and not as problematic as past Columbus Day weekends with a new traffic management plan in place that was developed by Stow public safety officials.

Fall is definitely in the air. It was just a matter of time, I know, but I hate saying goodbye to open windows and hello to socks. And I won’t mention the woodstove…
