Monday November 5, 2012
8:26am VANDALISM
A caller from Butternut Farm Golf Club reported that the course had been vandalized.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.

2:58pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that a suspicious female was going in and out of Shaw’s.  She did not come out with any bags but the individual saw her take food out from under her clothing.  The Police responded.

5:23pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that people were waving political signs into the travel lane, causing a hazard. The Police responded.  The people were located at a safe distance from the road.  No hazard was observed.

Tuesday November 6, 2012
10:05am LARCENY
A caller from Warren Road reported that an antique shovel was stolen from her porch.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.

10:50am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
The Stow Fire/Rescue Department transported a patient from Farm Road in Acton to the hospital for a medical emergency.

4:24pm FIRE
A caller from Orchard Drive reported that she smelled gas.  The Fire Department responded.  NSTAR was contacted.  A faulty furnace was the problem.

10:06pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Boxboro Road reported loud noises coming from the Minuteman Airport.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

Wednesday November 7, 2012
8:49am ANIMAL
A caller from Orchard Drive reported that a dog was tied to the mailboxes.  The caller was concerned.  The Police responded.  Nothing was found.

10:16am LARCENY
The Postmaster at the Post Office reported that the mirrors were taken off the postal trucks.  The Police responded.

1:13pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding an ongoing issue.  An officer advised the caller.

1:42pm BURGLARY/ARREST
A caller from West Acton Road reported that a man was trying to break into his home.  The Police responded.  Edward Dahlgren, 39, from Yarmouthport and Dana Durfee, 37, from Fairhaven, were arrested for breaking and entering, possession of stolen property worth over $250 and for possession of an instrument used specifically for breaking and entering.

Thursday November 8, 2012
10:04am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT/FIRE
A walk-in reported to the Fire Department that a low hanging wire was seen on Great Road.  The Fire Department responded.  Verizon was notified.

5:29pm     SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Red Acre Road reported that a suspicious man, wearing a hat and vest, was walking along the road.  The same man was then seen on Farm Road.  The caller was concerned because there had been recent burglaries.  The Police responded.  The individual was located.  It was a woman, from Farm Road, who was out for a power walk.  All was OK.

7:01pm     ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Lowell Drive reported that when he arrived home, he found his slider screen door open and other screens appeared to be pried.  Entry to the home was not gained but the caller wanted the station to be aware of the situation.

7:46pm     ANIMAL
A caller on Adams Drive reported that a dog had been barking for about a half hour.  The dog had a high pitch bark, which alarmed the caller.  The Police responded.  The dog was on the screened in porch and appeared to be OK.  The owners were not home at the time.

Friday November 9, 2012
8:21am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Boon Road requested an ambulance for a man who had a bad headache.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  After a thorough examination, the man refused further medical care.

9:28am     ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that there was a large chain in the road.  The Police responded.  Nothing was found.

12:27pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Elliot Drive reported that it appeared as though someone had broken into her home.  The slider door was open.  The Police responded.  The home was checked and it looked undisturbed.

3:12pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A student on a school bus reported that the driver was driving erratically.  The Police responded.  The bus was located and pulled over.

Saturday November 10, 2012
5:17am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Old Bolton Road requested an ambulance because she was having chest pains.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

10:36pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Red Acre Road reported that a suspicious man was hiding behind a bush near his/her home.  The home was near the Acton town line.  The Acton Police were notified.

Sunday November 11, 2012
5:33pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Bradley Lane reported that a car was doing donuts in the parking lot.  The Police responded.

7:48pm     ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Warren Road reported that when she arrived home, she found a note from an underage family member who went into the city with an older friend.  The caller was concerned.  The Police advised the woman.

8:28pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
The Maynard Police reported that there was lot of trash from a Stow resident on Pompositticut Street.  The Stow Police responded.  The trash was examined and found to be from the Maynard resident.  All parties were spoken to.  The trash was removed.
