Vacation and Community Photos

Stow resident Bob Cooke recently took the Stow Independent on safari in Botswana, Africa. After 2 flights of 18 hours each – plus hops in between – he came home with hundreds of photos, some of them even good. He then went to California for an old car club reunion, but couldn’t visit 4 national parks that were closed by our goofy Congress. Visitors who’d flown from abroad were greatly disappointed to find the parks closed.

Long-time resident Dorothy “Dottie” Scraggs recently sold her home on West Acton Road and is moving into a condo. A farewell luncheon was held for her at the Merrick home on November 5. A number of Dottie’s neighbors, past neighbors and friends attended. The Stow Independent attended as well and can be seen with (l-r): Don Scraggs (husband of Judy Scraggs), Jayne Merrick, Carol Peabody, Dottie (Dorothy) Scraggs, and Janet Derby
