Betsy wrote, “Since there are no roads in the area, we rode in a motorized dugout canoe for about 45 min to get there. We were treated to traditional music and dance, a fried fish and plantain lunch with fresh fruit for dessert, and lessons on medicinal plants and how the local handicrafts are made. It was an eye opening and educational experience!”
