Vacation and Community Photos…Feb. 24, 2016

In mid-January, Tom and Marilyn Zavorski enjoyed the warmth and sites of St. John USVI. At the far east end of island, nestled at the border of the national park is a small, fabulous outdoor café, The Tourist Trap, run by Larry, formerly of Manchester, NH. Great meals with the choice of local beers are served, as scores of bananquits flock to a circular feeder, while a few cats mingle at one’s feet. Patrons of outdoor eating establishments also share their space with wild chickens, goats, sheep and donkeys! Nature is most accommodating to St. John visitors.

After working in partnership with Promised Land Ministries for a week of building houses, stoves & painting a school during their church's youth mission trip to San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala, Debbie & Rachel Crane, along with their church group, hiked/rode horses up the Pacaya Volcano in Antigua- we toasted marshmallows in the heat pockets between lava rocks!
