Stow’s seniors were treated to cookies, gifts and holiday music courtesy of a growing group of Stow families and children at the 3rd Annual Cookie Swap held on Monday at the First Parish Church Hall. The Hale Robotics Team “HALESTORM” lead by Mr. Whitaker (Hale’s 6th grade science teacher). They competed in the First Lego League robotics competition at the Worcester FLL Qualifying event hosted by WPI on Saturday, December 1. They won 3 of the 5 challenges.
Patty and John Selin took the Stow Independent along while visiting the San Francisco Bay area recently and are pictured here next to the decorative Neptune Pool at the Hearst Castle in San Simeon. The Selins also enjoyed driving along the Big Sur coast, hiking in Yosemite, and visiting the museums of Golden Gate Park and vineyards of Napa Valley.
