Monday November 11, 2013
9:36am LARCENY
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding her stolen ring.  An officer advised the woman.

Tuesday November 12, 2013
3:45pm ACCIDENT
A caller near the Family Federal Savings Bank reported that a car hit a tree.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  After a thorough evaluation, the individual refused further medical care.

11:49pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Acton Police Department requested an officer to check on the well being of a resident.  They received some information about a posting on Facebook that concerned them.  A Stow officer responded to check on the resident.  All was OK.

Wednesday November 13, 2013
8:50am COMPLAINT
A walk-in reported that he had an ongoing issue with his neighbor’s dog.  An officer referred him to the Animal Control Officer and/or the Board of Health.

8:58am ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested assistance with collecting money from a renter.  An officer advised the individual that it was a civil matter and he/she should go to the Concord District Court for information.

6:18pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Birch Hill Road reported that she received a suspicious phone call.  An officer advised the woman.

9:19pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that an 18 wheeler had been parked at the corner of Randall Road for over twenty minutes.  The Police responded.  The driver had pulled over so he could look for a place to stay overnight.  All was OK.

Thursday November 14, 2013
6:28am ANIMAL
A caller reported that there was an injured owl in the road, just over the Acton line.  The Acton Police were notified.

12:38pm LARCENY
An officer advised a resident on Cider Mill Road regarding a recent larceny from his home.

8:15pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Whispering Way reported that a moving truck had been idling for hours while the neighbors moved in.  The Police responded.  The driver reported that they were finished and would be on their way.

Friday November 15, 2013
9:04am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from West Acton Road reported that she received a scam phone call from someone claiming to be her grandson.  The woman did not give out any information.  She wanted the incident logged.

9:50am ANIMAL
A caller from Taylor Road reported a sick possum in her backyard.  The Animal Control Officer responded.  The animal was not sick.  It was moved further back into the woods.  All was OK.

4:04pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Great Road reported that he received a scam phone call.  The call made him question if his or his family member’s identities had been compromised.  An officer advised the man.

8:21pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Warren Road requested an ambulance for a woman with back pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

Saturday November 16, 2013
9:23am ANIMAL
A caller from Randall Road reported that her neighbor’s dog was intimidating people and their dogs as they walked by.  When the caller walked by, the neighbor’s dog became aggressive toward her dog.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

10:12am ANIMAL
A caller on Sudbury Road reported that two sheep were in the road.  The owner of the sheep could not be contacted.  The Police responded.  The sheep were secured.

11:42pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Hudson Road reported that he saw a man come out from behind his home holding something under his jacket.  The man got into a car with another man and drove off.  The license information was recorded.  The Police responded to check the area.  The home was secure and there was no sign of a break in.

4:02pm FIRE
A caller from Elliot Drive reported seeing smoke behind her home.  The Fire Department responded.   Two cooking fires were located.  Both fires were safely extinguished and all was OK.

4:19pm FIRE
A caller from Minute Man Arc Residential Housing reported a fire in the basement.  The Police and Fire Department responded.  Light smoke was located in the basement, caused by a faulty washing machine.  The home was vented.  All was OK.

5:05pm ARREST
Victor Gomez, 23, from Marlborough, was arrested for driving an uninsured car and having a revoked registration.

Sunday November 17, 2013
12:24pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that two of her unoccupied homes had the copper pipes taken from them.  No other issues were found. An officer advised the caller.  The information was logged.

1:36pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that a dog appeared in her yard for the second time.  The number on the tag was “not in service”.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

1:54pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Barton Road reported that a landscape truck was blocking the road.  The Police responded.  A truck was not located.  The road was clear.

4:03pm DISTURBANCE
A caller from Warren Road reported that his neighbor was banging on his wall.  The Police responded.  The neighbor was advised.
