Stow’s Boy Scout Troop 1 will be offering Christmas tree pickups at $10 per tree, and trees will be picked up at the end of your driveway January 15. Sing with Sounds of Stow Chorus and Orchestra
Under the direction of Barbara Jones,  the Sounds of Stow Chorus will perform Faure’s “Requiem”, Mendelssohn’s ” Lauda Sion”, and Rutter’s “Hymn to the Creator of Light” with full orchestra on Sunday,March 20, in Stow. We welcome singers from all surrounding towns to join us in preparing  these beautiful works. Audition not required. OPEN HOUSE/REGISTRATION FOR NASHOBA PRESCHOOLS
The Nashoba Regional School District will be holding its 2016/2017 Open House/Registrations/Preschool Screenings for the Nashoba Integrated Preschools on Friday, January 15, from 12:30pm – 3pm. An appointment is required to attend. For an appointment with the Center School Preschool, contact Mary O’Brien at (978) 897-0290 x-6100.
We will also be scheduling screening for 3 and 4 year olds of Stow. Screenings can also be scheduled throughout the school year. This screening is a brief assessment of developmental milestones.

MINUTEMAN GIRLS IN STEM CAMp
Minuteman High School will host a Girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) camp in February that is free for seventh- and eighth-grade girls in the Minuteman school district, which includes Stow. The STEM camp will be held at the school, located at 758 Marrett Rd. in Lexington, from February 16-19, from 8am to 2:30pm each day.
Participants will be able to extend their knowledge through hands-on STEM activities, led by Minuteman students certified in mentoring who are enrolled in STEM majors, along with two of Minuteman’s instructors. A link with information about the camp and registration will be available on www.minuteman.org, during the first week of January.
