In celebrating her 80th birthday, Stow Artist Judith Jaffe Halprin decided to organize the artwork she has created over the years. Thursday, June 20th, at 7:00pm- The Little Holocaust Survivors: And the English School That Saved Them-Author Barbara Wolfenden at the Randall Library in Stow- Author Barbara Wolfenden will be at the Randall Library to discuss her research and read from her book The Little Holocaust Survivor: And the English School That Saved Them. Based on dozens of original interviews, Ms Wolfenden has compiled a fascinating history of the Stoatley Rough School in England that became a refuge and shelter for traumatized Jewish children fleeing Nazi persecution in Europe during World War II. Books will be available for sale and signing.

Dig into Reading Randall Library Summer Reading Carnival, Wednesday June, 26th from 1-4:00pm, 19 Crescent Street in Stow-Come join the fun when the Randall Library kicks off its summer reading program with a carnival of fun on the Stow town green. Activities will include bouncy houses, magic, crafts, face paintings, games with prizes, music, introduction to the Randall Library reading dogs, a petting zoo and much more! Come sign up for the Randall Library Summer Reading and Listening clubs and have the chance to earn prizes as well as earn points for the possibility to wining a new bike, Lego sets, E-readers, an American Girl doll, gift certificates and so much more!

Fundraiser for Sharyn Borey, Kids-A-Lot
Kids-A-Lot Country Day School in Stow is sponsoring a fundraiser for one of our own. Sharyn Borey who has been with the Center since 1989 has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Sharyn has been a staple at Kids-A-Lot for many years, nurturing many children and families in good times and bad. Now it is our turn to come full circle and assist and nurture her through this very trying time. Concert Series At The Healing Garden
The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden announces the next “Concert at the Garden” on Sunday, June 23 at 3:00pm. The well-known a cappella group Custom Blend, will be singing an eclectic mix of musical styles including pop, jazz, soul, big band, doo-wop, gospel, and classical. This 11-person semi-professional mixed voice group has entertained many audiences throughout the boston area. The Garden brings talented musicians and dancers to perform in this monthly series. The Healing Garden, a non-profit organization, is located at 145 Bolton Road in Harvard, MA and offers support, educational and therapeutic services to those affected by cancer. RIPPLES: A Self-Guided Pond Tour for Healing
