4:50pm SERVE PUBLIC
An officer checked on the banks in town due to a robbery in Westford.  All banks were secure.

1:42pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Birch Hill Road reported that people were walking in and out of her neighbor’s home.  She was concerned.  The Police responded.  The people were the homeowner’s cleaners.  All was OK.

6:35pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Meeting House Lane reported that she received a phone call from an AMVET, who was looking for a donation.  The solicitor suggested that the caller leave a check in the lobby to be picked up.  This concerned the caller.  The Police advised the woman.

12:04pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Old Bolton Road requested an officer’s assistance for a family issue.  The Police responded.  All involved parties were advised.

1:47pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Crescent Street reported an erratic driver.  The Police responded.  A driver was pulled over and spoken to.  All was OK.

5:24pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Crescent Street reported that a cyclist was not obeying the traffic signs.  He almost caused an accident when he went through a stop sign.  The Police responded.  The cyclist was located.  He was observed obeying all the traffic signs.  All was OK.

8:41pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Hudson Road reported that someone was riding a dirt bike in the area.  The Police responded.  No one was located.
Thursday April 18, 2013
6:44pm VANDALISM
A caller from Taylor Road reported that his mailbox was smashed.  The Police responded.  Several other mailboxes in the area were also damaged.  A report was filed.

3:45pm ARREST
Stacey Theall, 49, from Stow, was arrested on a warrant for possession and distribution of child pornography.

4:01pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak to an officer regarding a letter he received.  The bank informed him it was a scam.  An officer advised the individual.

5:47pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller reported that while he was in the Shaw’s parking lot, 4 individuals approached him and asked if he wanted to buy cologne.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

5:59pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Hudson Road reported that two young men were pulling debris out of the woods and putting it in the road.  The Police responded.  The individuals were advised.

6:18pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Sandy Brook Drive requested an ambulance for a man who had a possible stroke.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

6:23pm ANIMAL
A caller on Hudson Road reported that while she was dog sitting a small dog, her Bull Mastiff attacked it.  The caller secured her dog in another room and took the other dog to an animal hospital.  She suffered a minor wound when she picked the injured dog up to transport it.  Medical care was refused.

8:53pm FOUND
A manager at a local restaurant reported that he found a wallet that belonged to a Stow resident.  The Police contacted the owner and the wallet was returned to him.

9:54pm FIRE
A caller from Taylor Road reported that smoke was coming from his boiler.  The family evacuated the home.  The Fire Department responded. Nothing of significance was located, however the burner was shut down.  The homeowner was advised to contact his repairman.

1:52am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
Life Alert requested an ambulance to Meeting House Lane for a man with chest pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

10:02am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Warren Road requested an ambulance for a woman with chest pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

6:26pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that a car parked near the Dunkin Donuts, at the plaza, was full of papers and trash.  The Police responded.  The owner was spoken to.  He stated that he planned on cleaning his car over the weekend.  All was OK.

6:33pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that someone charged a large sum of money to his credit card.  An officer advised the man.

8:55pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Treaty Elm Lane reported that she heard a gunshot.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.
Saturday April 20, 2013
1:10pm FIRE
A caller from Minuteman Airfield reported that an airplane taxied into a ditch.  There were no injures reported.

10:13pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Pine Ridge Road requested an ambulance for a medical emergency.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital.

6:56am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Boxboro Road requested an ambulance for a woman who had a possible stroke and was non-responsive.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

3:41pm FIRE
A caller from White Pond Road reported that there was water in his basement.  The Fire Department responded to help remove 1-2 inches of water.
