Monday May 20, 2013
4:19pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Elm Ridge Road reported that a man, who claimed to be from Oregon, was walking though the neighborhood and around the yards looking for a dog.  The Police responded.  The area of Elm Ridge Road, Deer Field Lane and Samuel Prescott were searched.  The man was located walking along the road.  The Fire/Rescue Department was requested.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.  The Animal Control Officer was notified to pick up the dog.

5:30pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from South Acton Road requested to speak with an officer regarding possible fraud.  An officer advised the individual.

8:28pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Meeting House Lane requested an ambulance for a woman who had a high fever, back pain and gastric issues.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

8:32pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on West Acton Road reported that a young man was sitting on the side of the road with a dark colored sweatshirt.  The Police responded.  The man was waiting for his ride.  All was OK.

12:17am ASSIST CITIZEN
The Boxboro Police requested assistance with a disturbance in their town.  The Stow Police responded to assist.

4:41pm DISTURBANCE
A caller from the Stow Recreation Department reported that there was a man at the town beach causing a disturbance.  The Police responded.  The man was spoken to and advised.

6:02pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding a complaint she had about Concord Fuels.  An officer advised the woman.

4:20am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Crescent Street requested assistance for a man who fell out of bed.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The man was assisted.  After a thorough evaluation, the man refused further medical care.

2:27pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller at the Stow Shopping Plaza reported that a man approached her and her child and asked if he could fix her car.  He suggested that the caller follow him to another location so he could work on it.  The woman refused and the man went on his way.  The man was described as short and heavy.  He had dark skin, salt and pepper hair and many moles on his face.  The information was logged.

4:31am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Boxboro Road requested an ambulance for chest pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital.

1:20pm ANIMAL
The Maynard Police reported that two dogs were running in an out of the road on Pompositticut Street.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

5:31pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Lake Boon reported that a boat  pulling a skier was in the second basin.  There was no spotter to assist and neither individual was wearing a life jacket.  The Police responded to check the area.

6:26pm ANIMAL
A caller from Gleasondale Road reported that a black bear crossed the street and headed toward Butternut Golf Course.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  The Police advised everyone to stay clear of the bear.

7:30pm ANIMAL
A caller from Wheeler Road reported that a black bear was in his yard.  The Police responded.

8:37pm ANIMAL
A caller from Great Road reported that two small dogs were running around on route 117.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

12:27am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Peabody Drive reported that a suspicious car, with a loud exhaust, was driving around the neighborhood.  The Police responded.  The driver was a courier searching for a residence to make a delivery.  An officer confirmed the information.

6:20am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller requested an ambulance to Birch Hill Road for a woman who was very ill.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

2:51pm ANIMAL
A caller on Harvard Road reported that there was a sick looking fox in the area.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

6:12pm ANIMAL
A caller from Harvard Road reported that a black bear was in her yard.  The Police responded.

8:18pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Hudson Road requested an ambulance for a man who wasn’t feeling well.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding firearm ownership information.  An officer advised the man.

9:40pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Hastings Street reported a low hanging branch.  The Police responded.  The Highway Department was notified.

2:45am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Great Road reported that she could not assist her tenant up the stairs.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported a patient to the hospital

5:03am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Pompositticut Street requested an ambulance for a woman who fell.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

10:09am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Sudbury Road, near the bridge, reported that a young male, with a backpack, walked from Track Road toward the bridge.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

2:49pm FOUND
A walk-in found a wallet on Harvard Road.  The owner was identified and contacted.

3:47pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Golden Drive requested an ambulance for his toddler who had a high fever and experienced a possible seizure.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the child to the hospital.

7:51pm ARREST
Tristan Prince, 25, from Fitchburg, was arrested on a warrant.
