Monday October 7, 2013
5:01pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Indian Ridge Road reported that someone threw rocks onto the traffic on 117.  An officer responded to check the area.

Tuesday October 8, 2013
9:33am ANIMAL
A caller at the Delaney Project reported that a black dog with a collar, but no leash, was running around without anyone present.  The Animal Control Officer responded.

10:51am COMPLAINT
A caller from Adams Road reported that her neighbor’s dog had been barking for over half an hour.  An officer advised the caller that the information was logged.  The caller wanted more enforcement.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

3:25pm ANIMAL
A caller on Peabody Drive reported that there was a sick fox in the area.  The Police responded.

3:56pm ANIMAL
A caller at the Delaney Project reported that while he was walking his dog, other dogs without leashes approached him.  The dogs were not aggressive.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  There were no dogs or people around.

5:34pm ASSAULT
A caller at the Stow Acres Country Club reported that a man from the 8th hole assaulted him at the 9th hole.  The Police responded.

6:16pm COMPLAINT
A caller near Hale Middle School reported that a man was walking into people’s backyards with a clipboard.  The Police responded.  The man was located and spoken to.

7:20pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Warren Road reported that a man was banging at her door.  He announced that he was a man doing research work.  The Police responded.   No one was located.

Wednesday October 9, 2013
6:31am ACCIDENT
A caller on Treaty Elm Lane reported a car accident.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  Life Flight was requested.  The ambulance transported a man with cardiac arrest to the hospital.  Life Flight was cancelled.

1:09pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller at the Stow Country Club requested an ambulance for a chef who cut his hand with a knife.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

3:21pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A few callers reported no phone service.  They were advised to contact the phone company.  Verizon was notified to check the area.

Thursday October 10, 2013
2:36am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
Lifeline requested an ambulance for a woman who had flu like symptoms and was in and out of consciousness.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

10:08am ANIMAL
A caller at the Marble Hill Conservation area reported that a white dog was acting very aggressively toward her.  The caller turned away and ignored the dog.  It did not follow.   The Police stayed on the line until the woman felt safe near her car.

10:15am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
An officer requested assistance with cleaning up a gas spill in the road on 117.  The Fire Department responded to clean up the spill.  All was OK.

1:33pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A driver on Great Road pulled up next to an officer and requested that he check her front and back windshields.  She wanted to be sure a substance on the windows was not hazardous to her. An officer examined the car.  The substance was dirt.  All was OK.

4:55pm ACCIDENT
A caller on South Acton Road reported that a mattress from another car came off and hit her car.  No one was injured.  The Police responded.  There was no damage to the car and the mattress was off the road.

Friday October 11, 2013
4:03pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding being a victim of a Medicare phone scam.  An officer advised the woman.

4:08pm ASSIST CITIZEN
An employee from a school in Lancaster reported that a student from Nashoba HS was supposed to go to his/her school but never showed up.  The Police assisted the caller.

Saturday October 12, 2013
8:05am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer observed a woman in the station parking lot, who jogged into the lot and then quickly turned around and jogged up the sidewalk.  The woman was questioned if she was all right.  She explained that there was a car on DeVincent Road with two unknown men inside.  The Police responded to check the area.  The men were workers who were working on a neighbor’s home.  All was OK.

12:20pm ANIMAL
A caller from Packard Road reported a sick squirrel in her yard.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

12:56pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from the Collings Foundation requested an ambulance for an individual with abdominal pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the patient to the hospital.

2:26pm LOCKOUT
A caller at the Collings Foundation reported that he was locked out of his car.  The Police responded to assist the man.  Entry to the car was gained.

2:28pm LOCKOUT
A caller on Circuit Drive reported that a young child was locked in the car.  The Police responded.  Entry to the car was gained.  All was OK.

3:24pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Pompositticut Road reported a large piece of debris on the road.  The Police responded.  A box spring was located on the side of the road.  The Highway Department was notified.

3:50pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Barton Road complained about the noise at the Collings Foundation.  An officer advised the caller that it was a re-enactment event and it would end soon.

3:52pm FIRE
The Fire Department responded to a call from the Collings Foundation regarding a small fire.  The fire was safely extinguished.

5:15pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller at the Stow Shopping Plaza requested an ambulance for a woman in her car who appeared to be having a seizure.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

8:09pm ARREST
Timothy Dolan, 32, from Stow, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.

8:09pm ASSIST CITIZEN
Multiple callers reported hearing explosions.  An officer advised them that Maynard had a fireworks display going on.  All was OK.

11:40pm ACCIDENT
A caller on Crescent Street reported that a car went into a tree but the driver ran off.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The driver was not located.  Acton, Concord, the State Police and Sheriffs were all contacted to assist with locating the man.  No one was located.

Sunday October 13, 2013
1:07pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Honey Pot Hill Orchards requested an ambulance for a man who passed out.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  After a thorough evaluation, the man refused further medical attention.

2:14pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that three men on dirt bikes were entering Bradley Lane, possibly heading to the forest.  The Police responded to check the area.

5:37pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on State Road reported that he saw 2 men and 2 women smoking marijuana outside a store. The individuals then got into a car and headed out toward Stow.  The Police responded to check the area.
