Monday November 4, 2013
7:55am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Walcott Street reported a smashed TV on the side of the road.  The Highway Department was notified.

9:02am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Maple Street requested an ambulance for a man who had chest pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

9:34am COMPLAINT
A caller from Bose Security reported that a limo drove onto their property Saturday night.  Security would like to speak with the driver.  The Police contacted the limo service who then made contact with Bose.  All was OK.

6:31pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Hudson Road reported that a man on a bike, wearing a helmet with a light on it, was on the side of the road.  The caller was concerned the man needed help.  The Police responded.  The biker was waiting for a friend to pick him up.  All was OK.

9:30pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Walcott Road reported that a couch was dumped near the location of the smashed TV from earlier in the day.  The Highway Department was notified again.

Tuesday November 5, 2013
7:05am ANIMAL
A caller from Adams Road reported that a raccoon was sitting in her driveway.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

9:03am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller at the Town Beach reported that a well dressed man was acting strange.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

12:39pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Boxboro Road reported that a landscaping company was blowing leaves into the road, causing a hazard.  The Police responded.  The company explained that they were attempting to blow the leaves off the road.  All was OK.

1:14pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A walk-in reported that a large tree limb was partially in the road on Great Road.  The Highway Department was notified.

Wednesday November 6, 2013
10:25am ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in reported that he/she received a scam via a letter.  An officer advised the individual.

11:38am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Packard Road reported that a man, wearing bike clothing and a helmet, was sitting on his stonewall watching the caller’s and a neighbor’s homes.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

5:01pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT/ ARREST
After a brief car pursuit, Deborah Ormsby, 73, from Concord, was arrested for driving without an inspection sticker, for reckless operation of a vehicle and for failure to stop for Police.

5:52pm ANIMAL
A caller from Adams Road reported that the neighbor’s dogs were outside barking.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

7:37pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from West Acton Road reported that while she was house-sitting, two men came to the home to question how old it was.  They asked if they could use a metal detector around the property.  The information was logged.

Thursday November 7, 2013
4:34am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on West Acton Road reported that he hit a rock.  He was not sure if there was damage to his car.  The Police responded to check the area.  A rock was located and moved to the side of the road.

4:49am  SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
Multiple callers on Great Road reported that a man was attempting to hitch hike.  The Police responded.  The man was transported to his home in Maynard.

2:16pm THREATS
A caller from Great Road reported that an individual had made threats to him and his business.  The Police responded to speak to the caller.

Friday November 8, 2013
9:01am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Meeting House Lane requested an ambulance for a woman who had difficulty breathing and was coughing up blood.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

4:07pm  MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Johnston Way requested an ambulance because she had a headache and was vomiting.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

4:47pm  MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Conant Drive requested an ambulance for a man who had a severe headache.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

5:10pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from White Pond Road reported that a car was parked on the property of an unoccupied home.  The Police responded.  While en route, the caller called back.  Three teenagers with skateboards got into the car and drove away.

9:31pm ACCIDENT
A caller on Maguire Lane reported that a car appeared to have hit a brick wall.  There was no one around.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.

Saturday November 9, 2013
11:39am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
The Cemetery Department reported that a possible theft had taken place at the cemetery.  A marker had been removed.  The Police responded.  The family of the marker was spoken to.  They reported that the marker was getting repaired.  All was OK.

12:13pm FIRE
A caller at Saint Isidore Church reported that assistance was needed with an elderly woman in a wheelchair.  The elevator was out of service and the woman needed to be moved upstairs.  The Fire Department responded to assist the woman.

2:14pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
The ambulance transported an individual from the Wedgewood Pines Country Club to the hospital for a medical emergency.

2:21pm LARCENY
A caller on Athens Street reported that someone was trying to load/steal farm equipment.  The police responded.

Sunday November 10, 2013
9:08am COMPLAINT
A caller from Orchard Drive reported that a car had been parked in front of her home for a couple of months.  The Police responded.  The car was parked on a public way.  It was not a hazard.

1:30pm ANIMAL
A caller reported a sick white dog, without a collar or tags, in his yard.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

5:49pm FIRE
A caller from Orchard Drive reported the smell of gas.  The Fire Department responded.  The home was evacuated, the gas to the fireplace was shut off and the home was vented.  A short time later, all was clear and OK.
