Monday June 10, 2013
6:59pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Wheeler Road requested an ambulance for a young child who hit her head.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported the girl the hospital.

9:35am ANIMAL
A caller on Maple Street reported that a large beaver was in the road.  He was in a small puddle.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
9:50am COMPLAINT
A caller from Warren Road reported that she received a harassing letter and tee shirt from a neighbor.  The Police responded to assist the caller.
10:22am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that a black truck, with two men inside, was driving very slowly in the neighborhood.  The Police responded to check the area.
12:41pm ANIMAL
A caller on South Acton Road requested that an officer remove a snapping turtle that was in the road.  The Police advised the caller that they did not remove animals from the roads so she should just leave it alone.
12:45pm ANIMAL
Another caller on South Acton Road reported a snapping turtle in the road.  She wasn’t sure what to do.  The caller was advised to “turn the steering wheel and go around it.”
2:16pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
The Hudson Police received a few calls about people walking into the former Maynard Water Supply Reservoir, on Sudbury Road.  The Police responded to check the area.  A few people, who were located parked across the street, were questioned.  After a thorough questioning, Homeland Security cleared six Russian and a US citizen of any suspicion.
5:50pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Sudbury Road reported that a window screen to his home was precisely cut.  The Police responded.  The window was locked and no entry to the home was noted.

5:49am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Hudson Road reported that he kept hearing a beeping noise in his home, but could not locate what it was. The Police responded to assist the caller.  A beeping cell phone was located.  All was OK.
9:02am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Boxboro Road reported that a wire was down and blocking half the road.  The Police responded.  A live wire was located.  Hudson Light and Power and the Fire Department were notified and responded.
3:50pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Walnut Ridge Road reported that a large tree had fallen across the road.  The Police responded.
9:07pm VANDALISM
A caller on Common Road reported that when he/she came out of a meeting at the library, the driver side window of his/her car was smashed.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.
10:15pm ANIMAL
A caller on Adams Road reported that a white dog was walking along the road.  The Police responded to check the area.  The dog was not located.

7:29pm WELL BEING CHECK
A caller requested assistance with her friend who sent a text about harming herself.  The caller requested that an officer check on her friend.  The Police responded.

Friday June 14, 2013
11:29am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a scam to get money from her to send to her grandson in another country who needed it.  An officer advised the woman.
12:53pm ANIMAL
Several callers on South Acton Road reported a baby fox on the side of the road.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
2:53pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Johnston Way requested an ambulance because she felt weak.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
2:55pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Hiley Brook Road requested an ambulance for a woman who fell off a scooter and hit her head.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
6:32pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Great Road requested an ambulance for a woman who was dizzy.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
9:30pm FIRE
A caller on Peabody Drive reported seeing smoke outside.  The Fire Department responded.  A home on Adams Drive was located to have just put out a kitchen fire. The home was checked.  All was OK.

Saturday June 15, 2013
11:37am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Pompositticut Street reported that when she beeped at a car in front of her to indicate that the area was clear to pull out, the driver got out and started screaming at her.  The Police responded.
4:57pm ANIMAL
A caller from Hiley Brook Road requested that the Conservation Committee place turtle crossing signs in the area.
7:37pm ANIMAL
A caller on Brookside Avenue reported a rider-less horse.  The Police responded.  A short time later, the owner of the horse was located guiding it back to the farm.  All was OK.
9:01pm ARREST
John Rinne, 33, from Acton, was arrested for driving with a suspended license, no inspection sticker and for driving a car while in possession of a class B drug.

9:47am ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding his computer getting hacked.  An officer advised the individual.
11:25am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Dawes Road reported that the front door was kicked in.  The Police responded.
7:11pm DISTURBANCE
A caller from Barton Road reported that his neighbors had been fighting for 30 minutes.  The Police responded.
