Public Safety Log… June 26, 2013

Monday June 17, 2013
8:37am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that she received two texts from an unknown individual.  The texts contained pictures of a cat.  An officer advised the woman.
4:16pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Packard Road reported that while she was outside with her son, an unknown man let himself onto her porch.  When she asked him what he was doing, he stated that he was looking for another home.  The Police responded.  The man was spoken to.  He was indeed lost.  The officer directed him to the correct home.  All was OK.
5:21pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Woodland Way reported that a tree was across the road.  It was completely blocking the road.  The Highway Department was notified and responded.
5:26pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
Multiple calls from Walcott Street reported a tree down on wires.  The Highway Department was already out on another call in the area and responded.
7:19pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Boxboro Road reported that a small black sports car was speeding down the road.  The Police responded.  The driver was located but was not speeding.  He was advised.
9:13pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Warren Road reported that a car, with a person inside, had been in front of the building for over a half hour.  The Police responded.  The person was waiting for her friend to come out.  All was OK.

Tuesday June 18, 2013
8:51pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Great Road reported that he received a call from a person asking questions about his computer.  He hung up the phone without giving any information.  The caller ID number was given to the Police for a follow up.
9:11pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Acton Police requested assistance with looking for a man, wearing dark clothing, who was carrying a knife and was wanted for an earlier incident at the commuter parking lot.  The Stow Police assisted with the search.

Wednesday June 19, 2013
10:11am FOUND
An officer found a black mountain bike in the brush on Timberedge Drive.  The bike was taken to the station for safekeeping.
12:21pm ANIMAL
A caller from Taylor Road reported that a dog came into his yard.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Thursday June 20, 2013
10:52am  ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding an incident involving her daughter and Stow Brook Gulf.  An officer advised the individuals.
10:54am COMPLAINT
A caller reported that she received a call from someone claiming to be her grandson who needed money.  The caller did not give out any information.  The information was logged.
12:05pm  ANIMAL
A caller reported that there was a deceased bat in her bathroom.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  The caller was advised to stay away from the bat.
6:32pm ASSIST CITIZEN/ARREST
A walk-in reported that her daughter was assaulted earlier in the day.  The Police responded to the location and arrested Kathryn Bouldry, 36, from Stow, for assault and battery of a child and reckless endangerment of children.
10:06pm  SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from White Pond Road reported that a car was backed up to the loading dock of an industrial building.  The caller believed the person was stealing something.  The Police responded.  The individual was an employee who was working on his own car.  All was OK.

Friday June 21, 2013
9:06am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Johnston Way requested an ambulance for a woman who was not feeling well.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
1:05pm ANNOYING PHONE CALLS
A caller from Great Road reported that he/she kept receiving strange phone calls.  An officer advised the caller.
5:02pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Whitney Road reported that a trailer was in the road, blocking the area.  The Police responded.  The owners of the trailer moved it to a better location.
5:32pm LOST
A caller reported that he lost his brown leather wallet near Harvard Drive.  The information was logged.
9:55pm COMPLAINT
Several callers from Fieldstone Drive reported fireworks in the area.  The Police responded.  Nothing was found.
11:54pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Maura Drive requested an ambulance for a woman who had a seizure.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

Saturday June 22, 2013
11:14am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported an erratic driver.  The Police responded to check the area.
1:30pm ANIMAL
A caller from Maple Street reported that a skunk was walking around his property.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
3:32pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Lowell Drive reported that a man was speeding on a dirt bike in the area.  The Police responded.  No one was located.
5:33pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Sudbury Road reported that several cars were parked on the side of the road.  Some were in the road, causing a hazard.  The Police responded.  All the cars were parked safely off the road.
5:37pm ANIMAL
A caller reported that while delivering phone books, her daughter got out of the car and was attacked by a resident’s Scottish Terrier.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
6:39pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Johnston Way requested an ambulance because she had chest pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

7:05pm DISTURBANCE
A caller near the Old Steppingstones School parking lot on Great Road reported that two men were causing a disturbance.  The Police responded.  Neither man decided to press charges.  Both were sent on their way.
