Monday February 9, 2015
7:51am ASSIST CITIZEN
Two walk-ins requested to speak with an officer regarding a harassment issue.  An officer advised the individuals.

10:46am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Sudbury Road reported two snowmobilers riding along the road.  The Police responded.  No one was located.

11:26am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding how to get a restraining order.  An officer advised the caller.

Tuesday February 10, 2015
3:39pm FIRE
A caller from Baldwin Drive reported that her smoke detector was chirping.  She was worried it was caused by the extensive water damage she had in her home.  The Fire Department responded.

5:51pm FIRE
A caller from Orchard Drive reported an issue with an electrical fixture.  The Fire Department responded.  The power to the fixture was shut off due to water from an ice dam.

8:01pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Barton Road requested an ambulance for a man who was unconscious and not breathing.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The man was breathing and talking at the time the ambulance transported him to the hospital.

10:04am COMPLAINT
A caller from Old Bolton Road reported that a caller, who claimed to be a sergeant at the Stow Police, was asking for money for a fundraiser.  An officer advised the caller that the department was running a fundraiser but they hired an outside agency.  No one from the station was making the calls.

4:56pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Grove Hill Road reported that he received a voice mail stating that his social security had been stolen.  An officer advised the caller that this was a known scam.

5:53pm FIRE
A caller from Baldwin Drive reported that she believed her home was collapsing due to the snow.  The Police and Fire Department responded. The Building inspector was notified and responded.

7:20pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Taylor Road reported that there was a septic smell in the area.  An officer advised the woman.  The information was logged.

Thursday February 13, 2015
7:09am FIRE
The Boxboro Fire Department requested assistance with a structure fire.  The Stow Fire Department responded to assist.

7:57am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
The First Student Bus Company reported that a trash truck was blocking a route on Trefry Lane.  The bus driver was unable to turn around.

8:29am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Trefry Lane reported that someone tried to open his front door.  When he looked outside, a woman was placing something in his mailbox.  The Police responded.  It appeared to be a cleaning company leaving something for the homeowner.  The caller did not have a cleaning service. The object was taken back to the station for safe keeping.

11:57am WELL BEING CHECK
The Center School requested a well being check on a student who did not show up for school.  The Police responded.  The child was located at home, with his/her parent.  All was ok.

12:35pm COMPLAINT
A caller reported that she was berated by the agency that was hired by the Stow Police Association for fundraising because she could not donate at the time.  An officer spoke to the caller.

3:53pm ANIMAL
A caller reported that a raccoon had been hanging around the area.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  The animal appeared to be sick.

7:45pm FIRE
A caller from Baldwin Drive reported that her home looked to be an inch off of the foundation.  The Building Inspector responded to the home for a second time.  The structure was deemed to be sound.

8:24pm FIRE
A caller from Grove Hill Road reported that water was pouring into an electrical panel.  The Police and Fire responded.  The water was travelling through the Verizon panel and into the outlets.  The Management was notified.  A solution was being investigated.

Friday February 13, 2015
7:55am WELL BEING CHECK
A caller requested a well being check on his pregnant wife, who was at work, but did not answer their scheduled call.  The Police responded.  The woman was located and fine.  Her phone was not working.  The caller was notified.

10:12am ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
A caller from the town hall reported a water leak.  The Building Department was notified.

9:15pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Great Road reported that she has received multiple calls from a “private number” but no one was on the other end.  An officer advised the woman.

Saturday February 14, 2015
10:04am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Heather Lane reported that she received a letter from the U.S. Government stating that she owned money.  The Police responded.  The letter was legitimate.  The caller was advised.

5:45pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Lantern Lane requested an ambulance because she was not feeling well.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

12:50pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller from Queens Lane reported that the end of the road was blocked by snow.  His neighbor had a medical emergency but got stuck in the snow and needed to be dug out.  An officer advised the caller.  The Highway Department was contacted.

1:37pm DISTURBANCE
The Highway Department responded to Harvard Road regarding a disagreement between a plow driver and homeowner.  The Police responded.
