Monday August 5, 2019

8:01am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Catherine Circle reported that a sealcoat company was in his neighbor’s yard.  He wanted to be sure that the company belonged there.  The Police responded.  A man from a Pavement Company was located.  He was there to do a job.  All was OK.

4:36pm ASSIST CITIZEN

A caller from Cortland Drive reported that his garage door was damaged.  The Police responded.  The damaged appeared to be caused from a landscape company.  The caller was advised to contact the condo association.

10:07pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY

A caller from Davis Road requested an ambulance for a man who was dizzy and had shortness of breath.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

6:20pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Sudbury Road requested an ambulance for a woman who fell and cut her head.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

10:52pm ANIMAL
A caller from Dawes Road reported that her black and white cat had been missing for about 2 hours.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  A short time later, the cat had returned home.

11:40pm ANIMAL

A caller from Hudson Road reported that a bat was in her home.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Wednesday August 7, 2019

5:19pm ANIMAL
A caller from North Shore Drive reported that her chocolate Labrador was missing.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  About 20 minutes later, the dog was located.

6:21pm ARREST

Barbara King-Hilli, 54, from Maynard, was arrested on a warrant.

Thursday August 8, 2019

10:11am ANIMAL
A caller from North Short Drive requested information about adopting abandoned dogs.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

4:50pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Canterbury Road requested an ambulance for a man who had chest pain and left arm numbness.  The Police and Fire/rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

9:58pm ANIMAL
A caller reported that his dog got loose in the town forest.  He waited in the parking lot until the dog returned.  All was OK.

Friday August 9, 2019

12:45am ACCIDENT
A caller on Sudbury Road reported that car debris was on the road.  It appeared to be an accident.  The Police responded to check the area.  A car was located at the bridge.  A tow truck was called.  The individual was not injured.

9:30am VANDALISM
A caller from the Recreation Department reported that the town dock was damaged.  The Police responded.  No damage was seen.

9:38am COMPLAINT
A caller reported that a specific detail officer gave him and his family dirty looks as they passed by.  An officer informed the caller that the named officer was not on detail. He was in fact at the station most of the day.  The caller explained “Oh, I thought he was the other officer.”

Saturday August 10, 2019

10:36am ANIMAL

A caller from Kettell Plain Road reported that she pulled five baby opossums out of her pool.  The condition of the animals was unclear.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

3:58pm LAKE BOON

A caller from Hallock’s Point Road reported that kids were building a rope swing on the conservation land.  The Police responded, via the police boat, to check the area.  The area was located but it was not known if the area was town property or private property. 

9:37pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Lakewood Road reported hearing sounds like fireworks.  The Police responded to check the area. Several areas were checked.  Fireworks were located by Crow Island.  All parties were advised.

10:14pm COMPLAINT
A caller near Crow Island reported loud music.  The Police responded.  Nothing was heard.

11:22pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from North Shore Drive requested an ambulance for a woman who was incoherent.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The woman was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

Sunday August 11, 2019

12:42pm COMPLAINT
A caller from North Shore Drive reported hearing three gunshots.  The Police responded to check the area.  Several people in the area were located but there was no information about hearing gunshots.

8:01pm ANIMAL
A caller walking along Peabody Drive reported that two golden Retrievers ran to the edge of a property and barked aggressively at him. An Officer advised the caller. The incident was logged.
