Stow Police Report… June 4, 2014

Monday May 26, 2014
8:12am     ANIMAL
A caller from Sudbury Road reported that her beagle mix dog was missing.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

11:07am ANIMAL
A caller on South Acton Road reported that two dogs were running down the road.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

12:28pm COMPLAINT
A walk-in came in to pick up a lost ring that was found.  The individual also reported that her neighbor had threatened to have her daughter arrested if the ring was not returned.  The Police responded to speak with the involved parties.

10:47pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Johnston Way requested an ambulance because she had severe stomach cramps.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

12:50am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Apple Blossom Lane requested an ambulance for a woman who cut her foot.  She was bleeding and unconscious.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  After a thorough evaluation, the woman refused further medical care.

12:57pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller on Salamander Way requested an ambulance for a man who fell off a ladder and had shoulder pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

7:32pm     ARREST
A caller at the Stow Community Park reported that she saw three youths exchanging what appeared to be drugs, in the parking lot.  The Police responded.  Isaiah Basile, 19, from, Stow, was arrested for possession of a class D drug with the intent to distribute.

Wednesday May 28, 2014
8:03am ANIMAL
A caller from Whispering Way reported that a black Labrador was walking around the area near a school bus stop.  He felt uncomfortable.  The Police responded.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

8:19am     COMPLAINT
A caller on Sudbury Road reported that the Lazzaro Paving Company trucks were blocking the road, which caused a hazard.  The Police responded.  The workers were spoken to and moved the trucks to a safer location.

3:01pm     SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on State Road reported that a couple was arguing while walking along the road.  The Police responded.  Joshua Mahoney, 21, from Marlboro, was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Thursday May 29, 2014
7:49am     ACCIDENT
A walk-in reported that he was involved in a minor car accident near the Bolton line.  There were no injuries.  An officer advised the man.  A report was filed.

9:58am     MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller on Faxon Drive requested an ambulance for a man who felt dizzy. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

11:01am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Farm Road requested an ambulance for a woman who fell while crossing the street.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  After a thorough evaluation, the woman refused further medical care.

12:40pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller at the Shaw’s Plaza reported that one of the members of a group he was responsible for had wandered off.  The Police responded to check the area.  A short time later, the man was located.

4:52pm     ANIMAL
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that a woman was walking an emaciated looking dog in the area.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

4:56pm     MEDICAL EMERGENCY
Lifeline requested an ambulance for a woman from Boxboro Road who was not feeling well and had severe headaches.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

Friday May 30, 2014
6:35am     GENERAL
A caller from Barton Road reported that a truck would be loading and unloading a tank onto his property.

7:38am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Great Road requested an ambulance for a woman who had a diabetic emergency.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  After a thorough evaluation, the woman refused further medical care.

10:03am DISTURBANCE
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that a man and woman were screaming at each other and using profanity.  The Police responded.  Jacob Broadway, 19, from Stow, was arrested for disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.

1:54pm ANIMAL
A caller from Packard Road reported that there was a foot and a half long snake on her back deck.

5:58pm     FIRE
Lifeline requests assistance with lifting am individual who fell.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The woman was assisted.  All was ok.

8:10pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Law’s Lane requested an ambulance for a woman who did not feel well. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

Saturday May 31, 2014
5:28pm     COMPLAINT
A caller reported that two children were inside a car, with the windows almost closed, at the Shaw’s Plaza.  The Police responded.  The child was left in the car with his/her 11-year-old sibling.  All was OK.

6:04pm     ANIMAL
A caller reported that two of her dogs were loose.  They were not wearing a collar.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Sunday June 1, 2014
7:51am COMPLAINT
A caller from Evelyn Road reported that two residents have multiple unregistered vehicles parked in the driveways and yards.

4:00pm     MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Meeting House Lane requested an ambulance for a woman who fell and had minor injuries.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. After a thorough evaluation, the woman refused further medical care.

5:52pm     ANIMAL
Several callers from Lantern Lane and Hiley Brook Road reported a black bear sighting.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
