Monday June 30, 2014

8:24am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

A caller from Barton Road reported that someone drove over his lawn to knock down a sign. There was no property damage.

10:59am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

A caller near Taylor Road reported that a car horn had been going off for a few minutes. The Police responded. The alarm was reset.

5:11pm COMPLAINT

A caller from Mitchell Road reported that her neighbor was outside being loud. He was using profanity. The Police responded. The man was advised.

7:09pm COMPLAINT

A caller at the town beach reported that people were swimming in the “no swim” area. The Police responded. The individuals were advised.

 

Tuesday July 1, 2014

8:37am COMPLAINT

A caller from Barton Drive reported that his sign was taken out of the ground and tossed aside. The information was logged.

11:23am ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT

A caller from Marlboro Road reported that cars were driving very fast. The information was logged and a radar request was made.

3:21pm WELL BEING CHECK

A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that a girl in her late teens or early twenties, was walking down the road. She looked overheated and disoriented. The Police responded to the area. The girl was located. She was fine and waiting for a ride.

3:58pmSUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

A caller from Bradley Lane reported that a man was going door to door. The Police responded. The man was advised.

6:28pm ANIMAL

A caller from Maple Street reported that a dog was barking at her. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

6:37pm ACCIDENT
A caller on Great Road reported a two-car accident. He was unsure about injuries. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. There were no injuries. There was damage to a car.

7:42pm ANIMAL
A caller from Shore Avenue reported that there was a sick raccoon in his yard. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

 

Wednesday July 2, 2014

12:42am COMPLAINT

A caller from Pompositticut Street reported that a tractor was working in the orchard. The Police responded to check the area. No one was located.

2:56am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Golden Drive requested an ambulance for lower back pain. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the individual to the hospital.

9:59am ACCIDENT

A caller from Hudson Road reported that someone hit his canopy but did not leave any information. The Police responded. A report was filed.

10:56am MEDICAL EMERGENCY

A caller from Red Acre Road requested an ambulance for a man who had tightness in his chest. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

12:29pm ASSIST CITIZEN

The Recreation Department reported that beer cans and trash were located on the dock at the beach. Extra patrol was requested.

1:58pm ASSIST CITIZEN

A caller reported that he found a wallet at the Stow Community Park. The owner was contacted.

9:20pm ASSIST OTHER AGENCY

The Maynard Police Department requested assistance with locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run.

10:24pm ANIMAL

A caller reported that her Beagle mix ran away from her home earlier in the day. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

11:19pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

A caller reported that a car drove to Russell’s Bridge on White Pond Road and parked near the boat ramp. The caller was concerned the people were up to something. The Police responded. The individuals were fishing. All was OK.

8:07am COMPLAINT
A walk-in reported that someone pushed over his little green man “Slow” sign overnight. The information was logged.

8:07am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Pine Point Road requested an ambulance for a man who had back pain from a recent fall. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

10:26am ANIMAL

A bicyclist reported that he was challenged by a large brown dog on High Street. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

3:20pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY

A caller from Farm Road requested an ambulance for a man who had general weakness and shortness of breath. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

5:58pm FOUND
A bicyclist found half of a car bumper, with the license plate still attached. The resident was contacted.

7:00pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Whitman Street reported that he struck a mailbox. He believed the mailbox was too close to the road.

10:36pm FIRE

A caller from Shore Ave reported that trees and wires were down. The Police responded. Hudson Light and Power was notified.

 

Friday July 4, 2014

1:17am ASSIST CITIZEN

A walk-in reported that there has been an ongoing leaking pipe issue at his business. The floor was flooded again. The Police responded.

 

Saturday July 5, 2014

12:53am COMPLAINT
A caller from Lakewood Road reported that someone was shooting off fireworks. The Police responded. The individuals were spoken to and given a civil citation.

9:28am COMPLAINT

A caller from Barton Road reported that a blue and yellow biplane buzzed over his/her home. It was low and appeared to be crashing. The Police responded. The pilot was spoken to. The wind was too strong and he had to land in that manner. All was OK.

12:26pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY

A caller near Shaw’s reported that a woman was on the ground. The caller was unsure of the injury. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

12:43pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Wheeler Road reported that someone was tailgating him. He was making obscene gestures and yelling. The information was logged.

2:05pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

A caller at Global Fitness reported that he had a flat tire with a screw in it. He believed someone put the screw in intentionally. The information was logged.

3:03pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY

A caller from Shaw’s reported that a vendor was unconscious. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. After a thorough evaluation, the man refused further medical care.

4:23pm COMPLAINT

A caller at Lake Boon reported that three jet skis were operating erratically. The Police responded. The individuals were advised.

5:30pm COMPLAINT

A caller from Davis Road reported that cars were parked on both sides of the road. It was difficult to pass. The Police responded. The owners were located and the cars were moved.

5:53pm ANIMAL

A caller from Taylor Road reported that her lambs got out of the pens. The Police responded to check the area.

6:10pm ASSIST CITIZEN

A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding issues with the removal of signs.

9:11pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Pine Point Road reported that her neighbor was setting off fireworks and aiming them into her yard. The Police responded. The individuals were advised.

 

Sunday July 6, 2014

1:23am WELL_BEING CHECK
A caller requested that an officer check to see if her son’s car was parked in the driveway. The Police responded. It was verified that the car was there.

6:39am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Taylor Road requested an ambulance for a woman with a medical emergency. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

8:49am BURGLARY
A caller from Boxboro Road reported that someone broke into her car and stole gas cards and charging cords. A report was filed.

11:17am ANIMAL

A caller from Warren Road reported that a he heard a really bad dog fight in the apartment below him. The Police responded. The dogs were separated and all was OK.

11:57am BURGLARY

A caller from Taylor Road reported that someone entered the garage but could not access the locked cars. The information was logged.
