The Independent Clause… August 5, 2015

I have shut down and restarted my computer about 30,000 times today (Tuesday). That might be a slight exaggeration, but only slight…  Between my publishing program randomly crashing (it did it again as I was trying to finish this up) and several delightful thunder and hail storms, all I could think was, “It must be Tuesday.”

If you missed the paper last week, that is because it was on our website as an Online-only edition. If you didn’t get there, please visit www.stowindependent.com and see what you missed! Articles include: “Planning Board Wrestles with Collings Museum Application,”“Annual Bike for the Woods,” “Stow Minutemen Turn 50,”and a piece on the Nashoba Summer Field Hockey program. There are also the regular features in the paper including Past Tense, the Police Report, Calendar, Classifieds and Vacation photos. And pictures of my dog. Can’t forget those.

We are back in print and headed toward the annual Back to School edition at the end of the month that will include the bus routes and updates on the schools.

The autumnal equinox is not until September 23 this year, so I am looking forward to the rest of this long summer.
