Rachel Hoff took The Stow Independent to the PurpleStride Boston event on the Boston Common on August 24. Her team Imagineers United was the top fundraiser team.  They raised $27,503 for cancer research to end pancreatic cancer which has a five-year survival rate of only 6%.

Russ, Debi, Caroline, Rachel and Christian Estey brought the Independent to Stonehenge in Amesbury, England. The family spent two weeks visiting England, Scotland and France this past July.

The Farris family took a camping trip to Acadia National Park in Maine.   Pictured  on the top of Cadillac Mountain are Anne, Kenny and Amy Farris, with their dog Stanley.  Amy wrote, “Soon after the photo was taken we watched a beautiful sunset. We had a great trip. The kids had a great time clamboring over the rocks.  Stanley enjoyed going everywhere with us, including on the shuttle bus and in the stores in Bar Harbor.”
