Vacation Photos… Jan. 7, 2015

Gen and Joe Sullivan hold fast to their Stow Independent atop windy Mt. Wellington in Hobart, Tasmania -- one of several ports of call on their recent cruise around New Zealand and over to Australia with a group of fellow amateur International Folk Dance enthusiasts.  As in New Zealand and later in Sydney, the group was able to tour local sites of cultural and historical importance and to enjoy a dance party with a local International Folk Dance club.

Madeline Jenkins spent the summer of 2014 volunteering at a clinic in Lomé, Togo.  She was there with other students from MIT's GlobeMed chapter helping their partner Hope Through Health.  The sign over the door says "Hope for Tomorrow" and the word "Lidaw" means Hope in Kabiye, the native language of the Togolese region Madeline visited.

Troop #75253 had a fabulous time at the Museum of Science sleepover!  The girls were kept very busy building sustainable cities, exploring the museum, and watching iMax, lightning, and planetarium shows.
