I was so looking forward to a relaxing Thanksgiving and some time away from the computer. At least I got the latter, since the heavy, wet snow brought not one, not two, but THREE power outages, including Thanksgiving morning. So, instead of relaxing, we shoveled, got the generator going, shoveled some more, removed limbs from the driveway, including one that landed on Tim’s truck. Thankfully, though, my older daughter hosted Thanksgiving dinner, which was not only very good, it was very nice to have the day off from the prep and cooking of the big meal.
Best wishes to Head Assessor Dotty Wilbur as she retires.
The holiday season is full on and stress levels can rise quickly this time of year. I hope you can sit back and relax for a few with this week’s paper.
