Monday August 20, 2012
12:35pm COMPLAINT
The Bolton Police reported that an erratic driver was headed toward Stow.  He was driving a white box truck with the word “best” on the side of it.  The Stow Police checked the area.
4:56pm     ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding a harassment issue.  An officer advised the individual.
6:50pm     ANIMAL
A caller from Great Road reported that he found a baby bird.  The Animal Control Officer was notified and advised the caller.
8:08pm     FOUND
A caller reported that while looking in the woods for a lost cat, he found a pocketbook.  The Police responded.  The pocketbook was one that had been reported stolen 7 years ago (2005).  A message was left for the owner.

4:45pm     ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Taylor Road reported that her garage door was damaged.  She was not sure if someone tried to break in.  The Police responded.

11:35pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding a recent issue.  An officer advised the individual.

7:25am     SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Lakewood Road reported that a white Ryder box truck was parked in front of her house.  No one was in or around it.  She felt that it was suspicious.  The Police responded.  The truck was gone on arrival.
8:50am     SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Delaney Road requested that a man, who stated he worked for NStar, be checked out.  The Police responded and confirmed he was an NStar employee answering a call.
6:35pm BYLAW VIOLATION
An officer observed a Honey Pot Orchard sign attached to a tree.  The Building Department was notified.

Friday August 24, 2012
9:25am FIRE
A caller from Sylvan Drive reported that a small construction vehicle that was working next door, hit something, which caused a lot of gas and smoke.  The Fire Department responded.  An underground propane tank was located with a leak.  The Propane company was contacted and responded.  A few homes around the area were evacuated as a precaution.  Hudson Light and Power, NStar, and the Department of Public Safety also responded.
3:51pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller reported that she believed someone tried to get into her daughter’s apartment window.  The Police responded.
6:17pm BYLAW VIOLATION
An officer observed a Shelburne Farms sign attached to a tree.  The Building Department was notified.
7:11pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Wedgewood Pines Country Club requested an ambulance for a man who burned his arm.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
8:10pm FIRE
An officer observed a fire at the town beach.  The Fire Department responded.  There was a recreation event going on.  The fire was well under control.  All was OK.

Saturday August 25, 2012
7:40am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Meeting House Lane requested an ambulance for a man who had difficulty breathing.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
3:29pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Red Acre Road reported that a tree fell onto some wires in front of her home.  Hudson Light and Power was notified.
The same caller later reported that the HLP trucks had arrived but were blocking the road.  The Police responded.
6:17pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Robert Road reported that he was approached by 3 men offering to do some construction work.  They left the area in a red pick-up truck.  The Police responded.
8:40pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Barton Road reported that people were setting off fireworks.  The Police responded.  The fireworks had stopped.
9:34pm     ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that she either heard her front door slamming shut or someone banging on it.  She was concerned because she was home alone.  The Police responded.  The door was being slammed shut by the house fan that was blowing on it.

5:21am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Walcott Street reported that she saw someone walking around the house with a flashlight.  Nothing was found.
4:19pm ANIMAL
A caller at the Delaney Project reported that she saw an injured baby swan.  The Animal Control Officer responded.
