Thirty-two adventurous Boy Scouts and adult volunteers from Troop 1 Stow ventured to Jackman, ME to canoe and camp on the Moose River. This annual High Adventure trip is typically full of fun and outdoors adventures for the scouts. Unfortunately, this year we had plenty of rain, and a set of rapids that proved more challenging than anticipated. Despite heading home a day early, everyone had fun and learned a lot about contingency planning. Thanks to everyone who let us borrow canoes, paddles, and PFDs.
