This week’s print paper is a special townwide Thanksgiving edition. We are featuring Stow’s charitable groups on pages 10 and 11. Many thanks to Jeff Smith of Warren Insurance for sponsoring the pages. And with Thanksgiving, comes Christmas (yes, I said “Christmas”) and the Holiday shopping season. Small Business Saturday is this weekend. Please support local businesses when choosing where to shop. There are a lot of great gifts right here in Stow!
Among the many things I’m grateful for are this newspaper and the subscribers and advertisers that help support it. I’m grateful to those that helped get this off the ground and made it possible. I’m grateful for the writers and support staff who help churn out the news every week.
I am also grateful that I’m not cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year, thanks to my daughter and son-in-law. And with 6-10” of snow forecasted for my home town, I am hoping to be grateful that I will get to their home to enjoy that dinner.
This will be the Perfect Storm for the grocery stores. “Milk and Bread!!” meets “Turkey and Gravy!!” I’ve got my helmet and pads ready… Happy Thanksgiving!
