Monday December 29, 2014
1:08am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Kirkland Road reported that a white Jeep was speeding through the neighborhood with a loud exhaust.  The Police responded.  The driver was located approximately 35 minutes later and was advised.

12:27pm FIRE
A caller from Great Road reported that she heard a loud explosion.  The Fire Department responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

12:46pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Hudson Road reported that two girls were taking video of each other dodging traffic.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

3:35pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that she received a call to pay taxes on money she won from Publishers Clearing House.  An officer advised the woman that the call was a scam.

4:29pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Taylor Road reported that a young child was riding a dirt bike.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

4:57pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller reported that he could hear children playing on or around the bunker in the Assabet Wildlife Refuge.  The Police responded.  The individuals were advised.

11:07pm COMPLAINT
A caller from White Pond Road reported that a car sped by his home.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

Tuesday December 30, 2014
6:28am ANIMAL
A caller reported that a neighbor lets its dog out for about an hour every morning and the dog constantly barks.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

12:35pm ANIMAL
A caller from Zander Way reported that his neighbor was killing beavers and then burying them along the property.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

1:35pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller requested an ambulance for a man who felt ill. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

7:27pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Elm Ridge Road reported that a man was outside his home, on the street, waving his arms and acting strangely.  The Police responded.  No one was located.

Wednesday December 31, 2014
3:09pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in reported that he was in a minor accident up the road.  His employer requested a police report.  An officer advised the man.

9:05pm ANIMAL
A caller from Warren Road reported that her neighbor’s dogs were constantly barking.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Thursday January 1, 2015
3:33am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Harvard Road reported that there was a car in the Delaney parking lot and she heard three loud explosions.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.

9:26am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Harvard Road requested information about the legality of growing medical marijuana.  An officer advised the caller.

11:54am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Hale Road requested an ambulance for a diabetic emergency.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the individual to the hospital.

2:34pm ACCIDENT
A caller from Sudbury Road reported that someone hit and damaged his stone wall.  A report was filed.

2:52pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Great Road reported that her family member received a call from Publishers Clearing House stating that the woman had to pay taxes on the money she won before she received it.  An officer advised the caller.

3:16pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in found a black cell phone on the fields at the old Pompositticut School.  The owner was contacted and the phone was picked up.

3:20pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that there were several bags of trash on the road.  The Highway Department was notified.

9:28pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Mitchell Road requested an ambulance for a woman who had abdominal and back pain.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

11:17pm ARREST
Kathleen Martin, 42, from Hudson, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Friday January 2, 2015
7:37am ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
The Maynard Police requested assistance with contacting the owner of a license that was found.  The owner of the license was notified and advised to pick up the card at the Maynard Police Station.

7:42am ANIMAL
A caller on Sudbury Road reported that two sheep were in the road.  The Police responded.  Both sheep were guided back in their pens.

9:44am ANIMAL
A caller on Sudbury Road reported that two sheep were in the road…again.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  The Police responded.  The sheep were herded back into their pens.

11:32am ALARM
An alarm sounded for the second floor at Randall Library.  Someone accidently went out the upper level emergency door and broke the glass.  The Police responded.

12:57pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in reported that Publishers Clearing House told her to meet them at the Police Station so she could pay taxes on the money she won.  An officer advised the woman that this was scam.

10:36pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on South Acton Road reported that there was lots of debris in the road, possibly papers.  The Police responded.  A newspaper was located and removed from the road.

Saturday January 3, 2015
7:32am MEDICAL EMERGNECY
The Stow Fire/Rescue Department responded to a residence in Maynard for a medical emergency.  A man had seizure activity.  An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

1:05pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding her car, which she stated was missing.  An officer advised the woman.

Sunday January 4, 2015
5:21pm COMPLAINT
An officer reported that while he was driving east on Boon Road, another car was travelling west toward him.  The headlights were extremely bright, so the officer pulled over to wait for the other car.  The man in the other car stopped and complained that the officer’s headlights were too bright and he was agitated that the officer stopped; presuming that he was doing something wrong.  Both parties continued on their  way.

6:50pm ANIMAL
A caller from Taylor Road reported that there was a dog at her front door.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.
