Congratulations to all the recent graduates, including Minuteman High’s and Nashoba Regional High’s Class of 2013. We have many photo to share that can be found on pages 7, 8 and 9. Best of luck to all in your futures.

The Nashoba Baseball team won the Central Mass Div 1 Title last week for the first time in the team’s history. Read about the young team’s hard work to get there and where they go next, in Ellen’s article on page 1.

Congratulations also go out to the winners of our three golf contests! See the winners list below.

Look for information in next week’s paper about subscription renewals. It’s hard to believe, but we’re coming up on that time. More details next week on what to expect to make a smooth transition and not miss an issue!

I was very glad to hear that Frank Jenkins, Stow’s former postmaster and also a close “friend of Santa”, was feeling better and ready to tell his story. Frank had a serious fight with Lyme Disease, and thankfully, he won. Read more about his experiences, and what people should be aware of when dealing with the possibility of contracting Lyme in Ann’s article.

While I greatly appreciate the natural resource of water pouring down freely from the skies periodically, I am wondering if perhaps, we could work on the scheduling just a bit. I’d really like my son to be able to finish his baseball season sometime before his football season starts!
