Monday November 12, 2012
7:18am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Warren Road reported that someone spray-painted her license plate.  The Police responded.  The incident was logged.

8:46am ARREST
Vincenzo Porfino, 30, from Maynard, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

11:06am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Indian Ridge Road reported that she found a note on her door that concerned her.  The Police responded.  The note contained information that led to the Fire Department responding.  The location was tested for fumes or chemicals.  The incident was logged.

1:04pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Elm Ridge Road reported that a suspicious car was at the end of the road.  It had two men inside.  The Police responded.  One man was a resident of Elm Ridge Road.  All was OK.

2:28pm DISTURBANCE
A caller from Hale Road reported that she had an argument with her landlord, who was withholding some of her property.  The Police responded.  An agreement was made between the two individuals.  All was OK.

12:41pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Maple Street reported that she saw a truck back up to an open garage of a vacant home.  The Police responded to check the area.

3:53pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Chestnut Street reported that a large truck tire was dumped beside his home. It was too large for him to move.  The Police responded.

10:59am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Pine Point Road reported a possible phone scam.  The information was logged.

5:17pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that a Postal truck pulled out in front of her and almost caused an accident.  The incident was reported to the Post Office.

6:46pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A walk-in reported that a resident on Warren Road might have kidney stones.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the individual to the hospital.

7:15pm VANDALISM
A caller from Warren Road reported that her car had been spray-painted and garbage was left on top of it. The Police responded.  The incident was logged.

 
Thursday November 15, 2012
1:49am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Great Road reported that he saw two people run away from Patterson’s Auto Body.  The Police responded to check the area.  No one was located.  The owner of Patterson’s was advised.

5:12am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Treaty Elm Lane reported that a car was parked at the end of the road with its high beams on.  The Police responded to check the area.  The light was coming from a neighbor’s floodlights.  All was OK..

8:06am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Lowell Drive requested an ambulance for a woman who was dizzy.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

12:38pm  LARCENY
A caller from Wedgewood Pines Country Club reported that three batteries were taken from some of their equipment.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.

 

Friday November 16, 2012
8:54am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller reported that a window at the old Erkkinen Building on Great Rd. was broken.  The Police responded.   The owner was contacted.  He was aware of the damage, which happened earlier in the week.  All was OK.

12:29pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
The Fire/Rescue Department responded to Boxboro Road for a medical emergency.  An ambulance transported a patient to the hospital.

1:30pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A walk-in requested to speak with an officer regarding the procedure for a gun transfer.  An officer advised the individual.

1:49pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a possible scam.  An officer advised the caller.

2:28pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that small pieces of wood were on the road.  The Police responded.  Three pieces of wood were found off the road.

2:42pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that someone was leaning against a telephone pole.  He did not look well.  The Police responded.  The man was located.  He was given a ride to the train station.

5:41pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
Several callers on Sudbury Road reported that a tree was across the road.  The Police responded.  The Highway Department responded to remove the heavy tree.

11:34pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that while he was at a stop sign, someone honked their horn and then passed him on the left.  The Police responded to check the area.

12:04pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Kirkland Road reported that a man was taking pictures of a fire hydrant in front of his home.  The Police responded.  The man was advised.

12:23pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Boxboro Road reported that her neighbor was blowing leaves over the property line.  The Police responded.  Both parties were advised.

1:28pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller at the Leggett Conservation area reported that a car was parked with the trunk and doors open.  The Police responded.  The Conservation trust land Steward was there to do some work.  All was OK.

2:43pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Edson Street reported that her screens appeared to be cut.  No obvious entry to the home was gained.  The Police responded.

4:58pm FIRE
A caller from Delaney Road reported a natural gas odor.  The Police and Fire Department responded.  NSTAR was contacted.

5:33pm ANIMAL
A caller from Maple Street reported that there were some cows in his yard.  The owner of the cows was contacted.

7:13pm FIRE
The Fire Department and Hazmat team responded to Indian Ridge Road for an investigation.

3:51pm ANIMAL
A caller on Barton Road reported that two large dogs were in the road.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

4:41pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported that there was glass in the road.  The Police responded.  The glass was removed from the road.  The Highway Department was notified.
