A caller on State Road reported that a large vine was hanging in the road. The Highway Department was notified.
12:55pm LARCENY
A caller at the town beach reported that her car was broken into and her purse was stolen. The Police responded.
6:25pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Edson Street reported that a suspicious male came to his home and asked to look at the front door. The Police responded.

1:50am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Great Road requested an ambulance for a man with abdominal pain. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
1:31pm COMPLAINT
A walk-in complained about a paving company whose trucks were dropping tar all over the road. The Police responded. The trucks were located and advised.
5:07pm FIRE
A caller from Birch Hill Road reported that his living room was flooding. The Police and Fire Department responded.

6:26pm ANIMAL
A caller from Taylor Road reported an injured skunk on his property. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
2:07pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A recreation employee at Pine Bluff reported that a large group of kids walked past the check-in station and went toward the dog beach. The Police responded.
6:32pm ANIMAL
A caller from Harvard Road reported seeing a coyote in her yard. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
6:32pm ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller from Warren Road requested that the Animal Control Officer take her daughter’s cat that she can no longer care for. Several names were given to the woman to assist her with finding a new home for the cat.
7:03pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Davis Road requested an ambulance for a woman who was bleeding from her mouth. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

9:10pm LARCENY
A walk-in reported that her car was stolen from the town beach. The Police responded to check the area. Surrounding towns were advised to be on the lookout. A report was filed.
Friday July 19, 2013
9:02am RECOVERED
An officer located a car, which was reported missing yesterday, on Lakewood Road. The owner was notified.
12:04pm COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported a motorcycle and truck with very loud exhausts. An officer advised the caller.
4:08pm FIRE
Several callers near Finn Road, No Name Road and Taylor Road reported fire and smoke. The Police and Fire Department responded. The Fire was located in Harvard. The Harvard Fire Department responded. Stow Firefighters assisted with safely extinguishing the brush fire. All was OK.
5:28pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
An ambulance was requested to Finn Road for a firefighter who felt faint. The Fire/Rescue Department responded. After a thorough evaluation, further medical care was not needed.
6:02pm COMPLAINT
A caller reported that a green boat on the lake was full of kids playing loud music. The Police responded. The boat’s owner was advised.
9:20pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Boxboro Road reported that she heard gunshots. The Police responded to check the area. Nothing was found.

5:50am COMPLAINT
A caller from Johnston Way reported that a streetlight was out. The Police responded to check the area. The Plantation Apartments manager was contacted.
12:30pm ANIMAL
A caller on Harvard Road reported that a black Labrador mix was alone and looked hot. No one else was around. The Police responded to check the area. The dog was not found.
11:43pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Elm Ridge Road reported that a car was at the end of the road with its hazard lights on. The Police responded. The car was waiting to pick up a resident.

7:58am ACCIDENT
Caller reported a car hit a utility pole on Great Rd. Individual transported to Emerson Hospital. HLP and tow truck called to scene.
9:58am FOUND
A caller from Canterbury Road reported that a bike was left on the side of the road. The Police responded. The bike was taken to the station for safekeeping.
11:26am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer observed an individual selling food at the town beach. The Board of Health was notified and responded. The food vendor was shut down for not having the proper permits.
11:31am FOUND
A walk-in brought in a wallet that he found on Great Road, near the Villages at Stow. The Police located the owner and the wallet was returned.
12:07pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Warren Road reported that someone called her to tell her that an individual was threatening her. The Police responded.
2:13pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Stow Acres Country Club requested an ambulance for a man who was hit in the eye by a golf ball. The Police and Fire/Rescue responded. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
7:41pm ARREST
Seanna Barone, 23, from Acton, was arrested for disorderly conduct and false possession of a motor vehicle document.
