It’s almost Back-to-School time and we’re gearing up for the busy fall season already. Our next two issues, August 21 and 28, will contain information to help you get the school year started. This week, we are getting a jump on things by bringing you information on where to find school supplies and what prices you can expect in area stores. Nancy went to 4 stores with school supply lists in hand. She found some good deals, but sale prices are changing quickly each week and some items are already selling out. Good luck out there!
And as families of college-aged kids begin to say goodbye to their students, we have a new reduced rate College Subscription option to help kids keep in touch with what’s happening at home in Stow from September to May – for College Students ONLY. We are drawing close to the expiration date for many subscriptions. Please be sure to renew by August 28 in order to avoid an interruption in your home delivery.
Lew Halprin found a great photo of former Stow officials (part of which is shown at right), volunteers and business people going back several generations. Many of the names will be familiar to longtime Stow residents. And maybe some of the faces, too!
