Monday August 19, 2013
11:50am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
An officer observed two females on White Pond Road come out from the bushes and enter a man’s car.  The information was logged.

1:50pm    ANIMAL
A caller from Adams Road reported that her neighbor’s dogs had been barking for over a half hour.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.  The information was also logged.

6:12pm ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINT
A caller on Great Road reported an erratic driver.  The Police responded to check the area.

8:31pm ANIMAL
A caller from Kettell Plain Road reported that there was a bat in his home.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

9:02pm    ARREST
Christian Lander, 40, from Maynard, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and for possession of a class E substance.

9:16pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller on South Acton Road reported that a woman was “wrapped into a ball”  with two dogs, on the side of the road.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.  The Animal Control Officer took custody of the dogs.

2:05am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that a suspicious looking female was hitchhiking.  The Police responded.  The woman was located.  It was discovered that the Marlboro Police had reported her as a missing endangered person.  The woman was escorted to Marlboro.

10:34am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Hudson Road reported that a car went off the road and damaged his mailbox and yard.  The incident was logged.

2:01pm SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Taylor Road reported that a pick-up truck had been parked at a location for a long time.  The Police responded.  The man was looking at rental land.  All was OK.

4:31pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Walcott Street reported that a motorcyclist speeds through the neighborhood everyday at the same time.  He requested that an officer patrol the area more often.

5:00pm FOUND
A walk-in reported that she found a man’s silver wedding ring at the Delaney Project.

8:48pm ANIMAL
A caller from Peabody Drive reported that there was a bat in her home.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

10:48am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller in the Shaw’s parking lot reported that a car with three kids inside  was running.  The Police responded.  The kids were spoken to.  They were fine.  The parent was advised.

10:58am COMPLAINT
A caller from Maple Street requested to speak with an officer regarding an ongoing issue.  An officer advised the caller.

2:22pm    ANIMAL
A caller from Queens Lane reported that there was a bat in her home.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

3:10pm     MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Warren Road requested an ambulance because she had chest pains.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.

3:24pm    ANIMAL
A caller in the Shaw’s parking lot reported that there was a dog inside a car with the windows barely opened.  The Police responded.  Nothing was found.

6:14pm    COMPLAINT
A caller from Taylor Road reported that she heard a dirt bike or chainsaw in the woods behind her home.  The Police responded to check the area.

7:00pm    ANIMAL
A caller on Taylor Road reported that there were goats in the road.  The Police responded.  The goats’ owner was contacted and contained the animals.  All was OK.

8:15pm    FIRE
A caller from Orchard Drive reported seeing outside smoke.  The Police and Fire Department responded.  A small campfire was located.  It was safely extinguished and the homeowner was advised.

12:52am ASSIST CITIZEN
A caller on Great Road reported that a man in a large black car with a blue strobe light  pulled her over near the Maynard Line.  She believed the man had been following her from Concord.  The man asked the caller to step out of the car.  When she asked why she was being pulled over, the man instructed her to get out again.  The woman was concerned for her safety so she drove off.  The Police responded.  No one was located.  The Maynard Police was advised.  A report was filed.

7:12am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A walk-in reported that two women walked onto the closed golf course at Stow Away last evening.  They stated they were picking berries.  They left the course without incident.  The information was logged.

7:11pm MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Gleasondale Road requested an ambulance for a man who had an allergic reaction to a bee sting.  He injected himself with an epipen.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

9:05pm    SERVE PUBLIC
An officer observed a car parked at the Delaney Project after hours. The officer found an empty have-a-heart animal trap in the car.  The man reported that it was free from the side of the road.  He was advised of the hours and sent on his way.  The information was logged.

10:49pm ANIMAL
A caller from Gleasondale Road reported that there was bat in her home.  The Animal Control Officer was notified.

Friday August 23, 2013
2:10pm COMPLAINT
A caller reported that there was a skidoo at the first basin on Lake Boon.  The Police responded.  No one was located.

4:27pm    LARCENY
A caller reported that she parked her car on Sudbury Road by the river.  Upon returning to her car, she found a man in it.  She noticed that some money was missing.  The Police responded.  A report was filed.

8:42pm    COMPLAINT
A caller from Hudson Road reported hearing 6-7 gunshots.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

Saturday August 24, 2013
1:21am SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from Taylor Road reported that she heard a gunshot near her home.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

2:19pm DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE
A caller from Warren Road reported that she heard a man and woman screaming at each other for over an hour.  The Police responded.

4:50pm    SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller on Boxboro Road reported that a possible rock was thrown at his car when he drove by a pedestrian.  The Police responded to check the area.  Nothing was found.

Sunday August 25, 2013
7:32am  DISTURBANCE
A caller from White Pond Road reported that her daughter was renting a room out to an unknown man.  The caller wanted the man removed.  The Police responded.  A verbal no trespass order was issued to the man.  All parties were advised of their rights.

8:13am ANIMAL
A caller from No Name Road reported that a small white dog with red spots was running around the area.  The Police responded to check the area.  The dog was not located.

9:44am    MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Taylor Road requested an ambulance for a man who was stung by a bee in his temple.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  After a thorough evaluation, the man refused further medical care.

11:32am MEDICAL EMERGENCY
A caller from Sudbury Road requested an ambulance for a man who fell and cut his head.  The Police and Fire/Rescue responded.  The ambulance transported the man to the hospital.

1:09pm COMPLAINT
A caller from Lake Boon reported that boat was towing five children on a tube.  The Police responded.

3:59pm    SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A caller from White Pond Road reported that a man visibly urinated on his neighbor’s driveway.  The Police responded.  No one was located.

4:56pm    WELL BEING CHECK
A caller on Gleasondale Road reported that a man was walking unsteadily on the road.  The Police responded.
