Alrighty, I think I’m all set with this whole winter time dark and freezing cold weather now. That was fun, and now I would like it to be spring please. This November has certainly seen some really cold temps. Novembers of recent past have been fairly mild throughout the month. This feels more like January. Guess I have to put my big girl panties on (and my sweatpants and thermal shirt and fleece and woolly socks) and deal with it like a good New Englander. The older I get, the more I understand why people head south for the winter…
Well, despite my desire to slow time down, the Holidays are upon us. Thanksgiving is next week and then let the shopping begin. (Well, some of you have probably already started, and some of us will be ready around Dec. 24.) But before you head out, please consider buying from your locally-owned shops. Help the community by supporting its businesses. We will have a Small Business Saturday edition next week. Small Business Saturday is November 30 so please look for participating businesses in our area before you head to the big box stores and malls. There are also several sales in Stow the following weekend, including the Stow Garden Club Greens Sale and the COA decoration sale.
Stay warm out there!
