Changes for Stow’s Holiday Traditions

Even the most treasured holiday traditions must change sometimes. After 30 years, Teri Anapol will step down in January as president of the Stow Women’s Club, also leaving her post as head of the popular Breakfast with Santa, which takes place this Saturday, December 7, at St. Isidore’s Church.

Through the years, the Breakfast has raised thousands for the Club’s non-profit activities, while giving Stow families the opportunity to sit down to a full breakfast and visit with Santa Claus.

Chieftains End Season on a High Note

The Nashoba Regional football team’s 2013 season ended the same way it began – on a winning streak. The Chieftains’ 35-0 Thanksgiving Day victory over traditional rival North Middlesex was Nashoba’s third consecutive win and brought the team’s final record to 7-4.

That record is a testament to the way the Chieftains remained committed to salvaging their season after losing their only playoff game back on November 1, said first-year head coach Jamie Tucker.
